I have not had any problems yet.JAYSSON F : It is not a Microsoft Windows product or language. It is android based. Dell venue 8 pro is Microsoft.PATRICIA H : No - it's an android tablet. As far as I know, it's not available with windows. We had to learn a new operating system :-)!BRIAN B : Android, but runs all Google/Windows apps.DOUGLAS J : No, the Android system is Windows-like but is not Windows. Android is the operating system for the Samsung Galaxy line, Google line and in this case the Dell tablets and other media products.
Shopper : is the micro USB port a data port?JAYSSON F : Yes. I have an OTG Micro usb port adapter that I use to play movies on the table that are saved on a flash drive. You can also use a flash drive with a OTG Micro USB port plugged directly into the tablet to play movies, save pictures, and any other data you want to save and use to the flash drive.
Shopper : can you turn the apps off when tablet is on but not using the other apps to keep battery drain low ?BRIAN B : There is a screen where you can view all of the open apps, just swipe them off the screen. You use more battery with brighter light and watching lots of videos on youtube/facebook. Open apps probably doesn't make much difference.

Dell Venue 8 great product!

I bought a Dell Venue 8 w/ 32G for $ at Adorama with free shipping. What else can you ask you! Venue 8 is fast and light weight. The only drawback I have is that there is no indication of powering on until releasing the power button. I found that it requires pressing the power button for about 5 seconds in order to turn it on.

Great Value

Good tablet at the price tablets should be. I am using it for casual and entertainment purposes, I don't expect a tablet to replace my powerful laptop, besides I find very much more practical and comfortable working on a laptop. Can expand memory, key for a tablet. Well built, very good value. It could be better in some aspects, but considering its price, I give it a 5 star.
