Do not fear Google, it can be your friend if you phrase your query properly. This is not a codified topic so beware of slippery slopes.JOHN M J : Understand your concern. I'm a former plant manager. I always asked the experts. I am not an expert on gray cards. So, find the experts and ask. I'd start with Adorama. They could probably refer you to the card maker's engineers. If you're using the cards for photography metering, how close does it have to be? I say not very because if you don't have a gray card, you can meter on other colors that reflect light similarly, like grass green, bricks, etc. It's not rocket science outdoors. I do that all the time and get excellent color rendering. Just spot meter on the closest acceptable color.

Have grey card whenever I need one

Really like this comes with a small card and a 2 paper size grey cards. I cut one up and now have a grey card everywhere and will never be without one. The card is thick nothing flimsy paper.

Simply take a picture of the card in the same lighting your subject is (or was) in. Use auto white balance and P (Program) mode for the picture. You can use the resulting picture as the basis for a custom white balance setting or you can use the White Balance Card Set picture during post processing for a custom white balance.
