the Canon factory 15mm fisheye lens cap has a bad habit of falling off and the the deluxe cap is a great solution

The DeluxGear Lens Guard is an excellent product for any level of photography, amateur or professional. I spend most of my time taking nature pictures outdoors, so I am often concerned about the beating my lens takes during the excursions. The Lens Guard fits snuggly over the lens, yet is easy to remove in a flash for quick photos. My biggest concern is having the glass scratched on a scramble up a rocky slope, but with the Lens Guard, I did not have to worry about scratching or damaging the lens as the rubber outside and inner padding provided plenty of protection. A great buy and better than the plastic cap that seems to get lost so easily.

I do a lot of backpacking and photography is a major part of the trips. I can't count the number of lens caps I have lost on the trails. The Lens Guard stays put, protecting the lens and when I pull it off it stays attached to the camera. I am going to purchase a couple more for the lenses in the pack.

I feel that the lens is totally secure when I am scrambling about looking for the best vantage points for my landscape photography - I do lots of that!

Your camera is around your neck or slung over your shoulder, and when you get something out of your trunk or lean through your car window, your camera develops a mind of its own. It swings forward and bangs whatever is in front of it. As a photographer, you know that if there is something to bump into, your camera will find it. Finally there is a solution. It's called the Lens Guard. The Lens Guard is like the bumper of a car. It provides impact protection while preventing mishaps.
