I ordered the digital juice 30 lbs sand bag (6 bag pro kit) I live in Prescott Valley, Arizona & it is normally windy quite often. I like taking flash photography of my clients outside. These sand bags really hold my equipment down; especially my light stands. I no longer have to worry that I may compromise my photography equipment. Thanks Adorama! The sandbags are easy to fill with a little shovel; it has a zipper that opens & closes & the handle is a huge help.

I haven't had them very long, though they seem well made, I have only filled two of them with sand from my yard, I tried putting sand in a 1 gallon zip lock but was not able to fit as much in so I just poured it in directly, it hasn't leaked out.

The Digital Juice Sandbag (6-Pack Pro Kit) is an indispensable part of video and film production because they have so many uses. Primarily they are used to add weight to objects like light stands and grip gear to prevent them from falling over. Practically speaking, sandbags are also employed in a variety of other production tasks as well.
Production is as much about problem solving as it is about capturing images. There are regular scenarios where having sandbags can make the difference between getting shots and wasting time. They are one of the simplest, cheapest, most practical pieces of gear to own.
