While I loved the monitor. I am unable to get past the fact that DJI gave up on this product in such that the newer drones are not supported. And the ones that are (at the least the American ones) do not have Remote ID. In hindsight this was a poor purchase.

Using with the Mavic Pro and the DJI mount, works great! Nice bright screen and battery life is long. The only downside was the need to use a Phantom 4 charger to charge the battery.

This is the best device on the market to run DJI products from. The small ruggedized form factor is well thought out and operates well. I would consider the investment in the larger crystal sky, but seeing as how I've been making due with my phone I didn't think that the extra real estate was necessary. I DO wish this was a certified google device with the play store and I DO wish it had a SIM card slot so I could add it's own cell connection, but those are maybe a lot to ask for at this price point. Insane daylight screen brightness and seamless DJI GO4 operation are the gig here, and it does it very well.

I love the unit and would highly recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about purchasing it. Very bright and easy to see while I'm utilizing it here in the Florida sun!

I've flown drones for over two years and have been consistently irritated and disappointed by mobile devices and monitoring solutions. The glare on the screens alone can ruin them, then add low brightness and terrible battery life and you've got a perfect storm. Enter: DJI CrystalSky I was first struck by the build quality and the anti-glare style screen. Then I turned it on, the screen is twice as bright as my brightest mobile device and it doesn't annoyingly dim the screen in hot or cold. The device can be powered by the DJI P4P controller I own, but it also has interchangeable batteries. I haven't tested the full life but even in the cold, the battery life was noticeably improved over anything I've used before. The bright screen makes it so incredibly easy to see my shots. No more trying to block the sun or fiddling with annoying sunshades. Also, the convenient mounting bracket was super easy to attached to the remote and feels more rock solid than any of the mobile holders. I love this monitor and highly recommend it to any and all professional drone pilots. It's worth the investment simply for the ability to clearly see your screen, the better mount, longer battery life, build quality, and additional HDMI out, micro SD and USB functions are just icing on the cake for me. Though all of those features are extremely useful. Also, since the Crystalsky only exists to run the DJIGo Apps, they are extremely stable and the video latency while flying is even lower than on the DJI Go App on my iPhone. I can't recommend this enough. If you're a professional drone pilot flying DJI products, the Crystalsky is a must-have tool in your arsenal to get spectacular images and deliver the best quality to your clients.
