Tried ordering direct from dji and after a month of waiting they finally shipped my order then it got denied at customs. I heard good things about adorama so I jumped on and ordered a mini4pro and air3s at the same price as dji with free shipping. Order was shipped out next day and arrived in Hawaii 2 days after... Easy to use, great images, poor battery life...almost there!

My first foray into actually flying a drone - love the size, ease of use, controller vs using phone (pro platinum we have is cumbersome). When shooting video or taking photos - the battery life is about 8-10 minutes - maybe after a few uses it gets better. However, I would get about 5 minutes of video and would need to land and swap batteries. It could be some setting I'm missing but, I would think it would work OOTB at full capacity. Other than this - it is easy to use, has great video quality, and the size is amazing!

Excellent drone, but you might actually prefer the cheaper controller that uses your phone or tablet

Excellent drone for mapping and digital terrain modeling: very portable, requires no license or registration if you avoid the heavier, longer-lasting batteries, no unneeded extra cameras or optical zoom, very smart obstacle avoidance, etc. Limited but usable flight time using extra batteries. Bumps around in rough air a bit more than my old Mavic Pro, but that drone is bigger, heavier, and no longer legal to fly in the US without adding a remote radio ID unit. Before you order this combo package, though, consider which DJI controller you really need. I ended up replacing this RC 2 controller (which has a built-in display) with the cheaper RC N2 controller (which works with your phone or a tablet). The controller with the built-in display is nice, but creating, adjusting, and flying pre-planned "lawnmower" patterns over sites, especially if they are not simply horizontal, is difficult with DJI's software, and this controller forces you to use only DJI's app. You cannot install or run third-party software. So I now use an open-source flight planner and excellent (and inexpensive) planning and flying software from Litchi on the tablet with the RC N2 controller for mapping missions. Litchi's Pilot software (for Android only) is still in beta as of this writing but works very well. By the way, the RC N2 controller is preferable to the newer RC N3 controller because it has a bigger battery and will keep your phone or tablet charged with it -- less chance of the phone or tablet pooping out during a flight.

Nice rec drone but Standard Battery included not Part 107 Compliant

Excellent drone and a nice upgrade to the MIni 4K- has obstruction sensing and better cameras. Suitable for recreational flying. HOWEVER- the Standard Battery is not Part 107 compliant, RID is disabled. Remote ID will only activate on the Mini 4 Pro with the Intelligent Battery Plus. Something to consider if you plan on flying this for commercial use. A headscratcher, so the 4-Star review.

Drone is fast. Reacts well with the controller, even at great distances. Video transmission quality was very good. Auto tracking is able I keep up with vehicles driving at lower speeds (up to around 30 mph). Very user friendly with tutorials built right into the handheld.

The Mini 4 Pro's camera is powered by a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor featuring Dual Native ISO Fusion, f/1.7 aperture, and 2.4microm 4-in-1 pixels.
