Just had my first experience ordering from Adorama, and I'm honestly thrilled with how smoothly everything went. I grabbed a new drone-and while I was braced for the usual shipping limbo, Adorama had it out the door and on my porch in what felt like a blink. The box arrived pristine, the drone was factory?fresh (no sketchy "open?box surprises"), and they even tucked in a simple setup guide that made unboxing feel a little more special.
Price?wise they were right in line with-or a hair better than-everyone else, but the real win was the service: clear order updates, a tracking link that actually updated in real time, and an email the day after delivery just to confirm everything showed up okay. Small touch, big impression.
If you're on the fence about ordering gear online, I can't recommend these folks enough. Fast shipping, zero hassle, and exactly what I paid for-what more do you need? Five stars from this happy camper!

Necessary insurance for Avata 2
If you are flying this drone as intended you are going to crash and break things. Make sure you have insurance. Most other DJI drones i think you don't need insurance but you will with the avata 2.

Convenient and good value
DJI care refresh is a great deal on it's own.
Ability to buy it from Adorama at the same rate as DJI (and take advantage of the Adorama points) is very convenient.

SERIOUS ABOUT FLYING-YOU WILL CRASH-*YOU NEED THIS*
If you are honest about drone flying, YOU WILL CRASH eventually. This is very cheap "insurance" in the event anything goes awry. You get TWO total drone replacements/yr. This is much better than paying a thousand bucks for drone replacement, eh?!

Great value for novice and experienced fliers
This is my first drone so I am very careful while flying. I have taken it out for several flights. The range is much less than advertised. I guess it is less than a mile. Otherwise, it is easy to navigate once you get familiar with the controls and operate in a shady location so you can see the screen. The Return to Home function is nice for the newbie.
Image quality is excellent! Shoot RAW for stills.
I think it is an excellent value and recommend the accessory pack with 2 extra batteries.

Great value for peace of mind

Peace of mind... VERY worth it!
This flight insurance gave me the peace of mind to start flying right off the bat, and I have not ever flown a drone before! Granted the Mavic 2 Pro is super user friendly with its many intelligent flight sensors and programming, but still... the insurance was worth it to me!

What an advancement DVI has made with the Mavic 2. The controller is unbelievable and makes everything so much easier while not using up your phone battery. I would highly recommend stopping by Adorama and talking to the experts there about this new drone. They know what they are talking about and they are always willing to work a great deal.

Frustrations

Adorama worked to make it right
Word of warning for the DJI Care Refresh, you HAVE to wait to register your drone WHEN you are ready to register the DJI Care Refresh. The DJI Care Refresh HAS to be done within 48 hours of registering the drone. Otherwise you HAVE to follow a RIDICULOUS series of steps while filmming everything you are doing WITHOUT stoping the filming. Adorama wasn't able to send me the DJI Care Refresh till about a week later than the drone. I wasn't aware of the 48 hour rule. I was very upset but Adorama made it right so I am giving ADORAMA a 5 star rating. NOT DJI.

It's a must have if your just starting out with the Mavic Pro
I purchased the Mavic Pro with the DJI Care. I'm so glad I did because I hadn't ever flown a drone before. It allowed me to learn how to fly it with a peace of mind.
