I really like this action camera. I have wanted one for a lot of years, and finally pulled the trigger. I got this over the GoPro 9 mostly because of the issues I keep reading that camera has. I really need reliability first. Also for me the camera works great and has been a ton of fun. So far it has been underwater, dropped it a bunch of times, hikes, rappelling, handed to my kids to do whatever on, stuck inside my engine cavity, and more! I feel like dji did such a great job that I have no regrets buying over a two year old piece of equipment and so far for me I don't feel I really gave up anything important. Plus with the card and accessories and the price it seems like a no brainer to me.

The DJI Osmo Action camera seems well made and rugged enough to stand up. Both the picture and sound qualities are excellent. The image stabilization and distortion correction features initially drew me to the DJI Osmo. My only hesitation is that the manufacturer requires that the device be "activated" through a proprietary application that can also control the camera in use. Once activated, however, it seem the camera will work manually without being tethered to the app.

I absolutely loved this camera! Very good quality. Easy to use. Everything you could want is included in the kit. Recently took it on vacation & I have countless, priceless memories. Half the price of a GoPro & better quality. Watch a YouTube video comparing the two. This camera DOES NOT disappoint.

A great camera! Is my first action camera but I think is really better than the GoPro 7,8 and maybe GoPro9. Also the bundle help a lot to avoid some extra payments. Thanks to Adorama for it!

I got to use as a multi purpose camera. To take on hikes, kayaking and also use as a dash cam. It does get really hot when being used as a dash cam but that?s not a factor of the product and more the sun coming through the window. Video quality is incredible and love the Froggi accessory pack that was included.

I'm new to action cameras. I recently bought a GoPro Hero7 Silver to try it out (yes I know it's outdated). I made several trips on my motorcycle and a few in my car. No matter what settings I check, it only seems to record for 3, 7 or 14 minutes at a time. It has freezes up nearly 1/4 of the time so I get nothing recorded. The DJI Osmo Action has been performing flawlessly. The menu is easier to use and it has great video. I haven't tried a side-by-side comparison but I don't imagine the picture or sound quality is significantly different.

This is a great action camera. The Osmo Action has great features and is easy to use. Since a great deal of the accessories are compatible with GoPro, then you have a huge selection of various options. The Osmo is solidly built and takes great pictures/videos. I especially like the Dewarp feature that allows you to turn off the "fisheye" effect of the wide angle lens.

At this time DJI Osmo Action is been better than Gopro. I bought Gopro before but returned as has malfunctions at this time. I this got DJI Osmo Action, has some small issues but better performance.

Only reason I won't give the Osmo five stars, is that it doesn't have an easy way to capture GPS, either natively, or via the app. Otherwise, it's exactly what I needed. Works great, far cheaper than comparable gopro options, compatible with most action cam accessories, and came just as Adorama presented it. The Froggi portion of the bundle was backordered but that's not a huge deal for me.
