need this with a ronin

This connection is definitely helpful with the Ronin and being able to connect to the camera (and use the record button on the Ronin). you can still get by without this, but using the cable connection helps make your shoot go smoother.

Highly recommend....

I purchased this Ronin cable to use with my canon 5D Mark IV. It works perfectly. It’s the right length and has a secure fit into the digital terminal and the gimbal terminal. I highly recommend buying this cable.

This cable works great! With this cable attached to a d850 on a ronin-s, my videos have become smoother because I can use the Ronin-s record button.

The Multi-Camera Control Cable (Type-B) connects a camera with a Type-B port to the Camera Control Port (RSS Port) of the Ronin-S, giving it's Camera Control Button access to functions like photo taking, parameter configuration and more.
