Not For RC Papers

This product works perfectly fine when used for what it was intended, which is fiber based papers. there is no reason to use blotter paper for RC prints! If one has a problem with glossy fiber papers and lint, put a sheet of parchment on the prints front surface.

Will Ruin Glossy Prints

Use Delta's blotter books instead if you are printing on glossy paper. I use glossy fiber paper exclusively, and the pages of this blotter stick to the prints and ruin the face of the image.

*NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ALL GLOSSY SURFACES

What is pictured in the item description is NOT what you get. What you get is a book manufactured by Regal Photo Products, Inc. from Milwaukee, WI. "Photographic Lintless Blotter Book" is what is printed on the insert sheet that was included with the blotter book. However, it leaves an incredible amount of lint which is especially noticeable on dark glossy prints. But, it does indicate very clearly "*NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ALL GLOSSY SURFACES." (see attachment) The wax paper was leaving the lint and then I removed them and the paper leaves even more! It also leaves lint on matte paper, though much less. Avoid this blotter book because it can easily cause your prints to stick to the paper or leave a lot of lint which would require you to re-wash your prints and possibly tear them as you try to peel them off.

You Are Warned!

I purchased this based on the description and the image shown. Nowhere in the ad does it mention that you can't use this particular blotter book with glossy prints. I have used other blotter books, including the one pictured with glossy prints and had no problems. The pages in the book I received turned to glue and ruined the book and 3 prints I had in it. I noticed later that at the bottom of the cover page it says "Not for use with all glossy papers." This is a terribly inferior product that is misrepresented on this site as another product. Buy the name brand blotter books if you ever plan to print glossy!
