After meticulous design and development, the Advantage Manual presents a ceiling recessed, manually operated screen that seamlessly integrates into any professional or home setting. This HDTV format screen, measuring 65x116 inches with a 133-inch diagonal, is crafted with a high contrast matte white surface, making it an ideal choice for moderate output DLP and LCD projectors.
The Advantage Manual Screen is engineered with the Controlled Screen Return (CSR) system, a feature exclusive to Da-Lite. This innovative system ensures a quiet, controlled return of the screen into the case, providing optimal performance and smooth, consistent operation. Please note that screens with the CSR feature must be fully extended, as there are no intermediate stopping positions.
This screen was designed with the installation process in mind, offering the convenience and flexibility of installing the case and fabric/roller assemblies at separate stages of construction. The lightweight, extruded aluminum case incorporates a floating mounting method with adjustable roller brackets, allowing for the centering or offsetting of the screen. The finished case edges offer a clean look and comfortable build-in of ceiling tiles.
The high contrast matte white fabric, up to and including 10' high, will be seamless. Video Spectra 1.5 and high contrast matte white fabric up to and including 8' high will also be seamless, as will high power fabric up to and including 6' high. This specially designed gray base material with a reflective top surface provides excellent black levels without sacrificing the white level output, making it a great choice when video images are the main source of information being projected and where ambient light is moderately controlled.
The Advantage Manual Screen is flame retardant and mildew resistant, ensuring longevity and durability. With a viewing angle of 50 degrees and a gain of 1.1, this screen offers a superior viewing experience. - Surface with black masking borders standard, on flame retardant and mildew resistant fiberglass fabric, mounted on a ball bearing rigid steel spring roller
- A floating mounting method utilizing adjustable roller brackets is designed into a lightweight, extruded aluminum case allowing the centering or offsetting of the screen
- Equipped with Controlled Screen Return (CSR) to control the return speed of the screen surface back into the case
- Top, front, and back of case made of extruded aluminum
- End caps made of heavy gauge steel
- Bottom of case has a removable access door
- Case is powder coated white. Handsome finished white aluminum case provides a clean look and allows easy installation of ceiling tiles
- Bottom of case is self-trimming, with a built-in flange around the bottom of the case
- Bottom of screen formed into pocket holding tubular metal slat
- A steel pull bail is attached to the slat
