Not again.

I used this slider with a Nikon D600 and a Sony Nex-6. Both seemed to be to heavy for this slider. I as began the motion it would stall, stutter, or bend. The GoPro might be a better fit for it. It also needs a better design for the feet. There is no practical way to store it with the feet installed. You have to remove them every time which slows down setups. Not useful for larger cameras, and I can not recommend it.

Good Entry Level Slider

If you are looking to get your first slider to test out but don't have a lot of money to put towards it, this is a good one to buy. You can achieve some standard slider shots but by no means is this a production scale slider. To get the best performance out of it you really need to have three tripods connected to it to give the best stability. Don't buy if you plan on using this as an every day slider for production purposes but it is great for those who use one occasionally

The DLC 47" Camera Slider is a heavy-duty slider that can be attached onto a tripod or used standalone on its included feet. It is 47 inches long and its feet raise its height approximately 2 inches. It can take on up to ten pounds. It is equipped with a spirit level that indicates how even or uneven a setup is and with a tension adjustment knob that adjusts how tight or loose a glide should be.

It features a 1/4"-20 screw for mounting cameras and a 3/8" thread for attaching onto tripod ball heads. And it includes an adapter with which it can attach onto 1/4"-20 tripod ball heads. The DLC Camera Slider is made of heavy-duty anodized aluminum and is designed with self-lubricating glide rails.
