When I opened the package, I found a dent on the casing somewhere in the middle section of the length, & caused the screen retract not function-able. This might be the result of rough handling plus poor packaging (the whole casing was held by just a few thin foam along its length while most part are unprotected).[...], I dissembled the screen from the casing and try to repair the dent. The casing is made of very thick metal (believed to be some kind of galvanized steel) and working on the dent been quite challenging. Anyway managed to work it a little, dent still visible, but screen is able to retract now, albeit in a slightly jerky manner. The CSR is a great design that the user could adjust the screen retract speed. Without it the screen bottom rod will bang the casing opening too hard if not handled with care and reduce the screen life, especially you also have teenagers sharing the fun of movie watching!Installation was quite easy - needed my son's help on another ladder to do mounting measurement & hang it (quite heavy) on the 12' high ceiling.Image projected from the Epson Powerlite 8350 was excellent, better in darker room & HD material. I installed it in my living room with large windows (ceiling to floor) to the left and back of the room, that can be shielded by dark but light-penetrate-able curtains. On the right is a large entrance (5' x 9') that light can only be blocked slightly by a light curtain. So watching during bright day is not ideal (seems washed out). But watching at night has been great: artificial light from the large entrance does very little "damage" to the image when I set the Epson output to "Living Room", a medium brightness setting between "Movie" & "PC/Game".
