Great Close-up accessory!

I'm using this ringlight on a Nikon DSLR 5100 with my old, non-auto Micro Nikkor lens. Not only does it provide pretty adequate light at EI400 or better to utilize smaller f-stops f8 thru F32 but it provides bright enough focusing light that I'm pretty much able to focus through the articulating screen rather than having to use the viewfinder. I've produced some very satisfying photos after having the device for only a couple of days. The batteries have not yet been depleted and I've probably had the unit on for a hour or so. All in all, a great birthday present from my wife!

The Dot Line RL60 LED Ringlight uses 60 LEDs to deliver the distinctive soft light of a ringlight. It can be attached to a variety of lenses (lens mount adapters for 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77 mm are included). A built-in dimmer switch allows you to control the light output. The Runtime on a set of 4x AA NiMH or alkaline batteries is 1.0 to 1.5 hours.
