A bit more twangy and bendy than what I was expecting, but overall pretty playable strings that probably would work best with a Strat type. The color coding system was - interesting, as only black and blue were used, so at times had to scrutinize to tell the difference. In general however they seem to be good strings, would recommend, esp. for the price.

Why settle for ordinary when you can experience extraordinary with the Blue Steel Cryogenic Activated Electric Guitar Strings These light, 9-42 gauge, 6-string sets are not just strings, but a revolution in the music industry. They are cryogenically frozen using a blast of liquid nitrogen, a process that takes the strings to a chilling -320½F. But what's the science behind this unique process
The freezing technique tightens the molecules, effectively minimizing microscopic gaps. This innovative process eliminates transient frequencies that often result in harsh highs and muddy lows. The result is a more consistent string that delivers a true tone and boasts a longer life.
