Well, my F-2 is now 15 years old and there are no signs of wear. It's carried medium format 6x7 plus lenses, 35mm bodies and lenses, and digital cameras and lenses. I'm sure one of my children will hand it down to their children one day.

The bag is very well-made, with thick canvas and looks great. However, it is much smaller than the original Domke F-2 that I used back in the days of film, and was not large enough for my needs, so I returned it.

Really nice bag. I've had Domke bags for 30 years. This bag holds my Z7 with 24-120 attached plus 4 lenses , full sized flash, spare batteries, filters, chargers, and more easily. The divider system included is the same design from 30 years ago, but better material. The optional strap pad is great and helps cushion your shoulder. Add the f901 pouch if you need more storage.

This is a great bag! Quality is second to none. I have a X-T4, X-E1, & X-A5. Also 4 or 5 small lenses, extra batteries, external flash, Should straps, etc?all fit in. I would highly recommend.

I bought my first Domke F-2 bag about 35 years ago (brown). I don't remember when I bought my second F-2 bag (gray). I used them constantly. As cameras and lenses grew larger, and I had to carry two bodies with more lenses, I then bought the Domke F-1X bag (black). I still smile at the names Mr. Domke gave to his bags: The F-2 became the "Original" bag, the F-1X was called the "Little Bit Bigger" bag. I cannot give enough praise to Mr. Domke's designs; they were meant for the everyday working professional as well as amateurs, and they are phenomenal in achieving their goals. I tried the super-stiff bags with mega-thick massive padding, and I have too many of them. I quickly decided I did not like carrying a beach ball on my hip. I also have a Domke belt-pouch bag I believe is called the F-945. I have used that bag so much that all of the tags and labels are worn away so I can't give you the exact model number. I still have all of my Domke bags. Today, I am ordering a Domke F-6 "Little Bit Smaller" bag from Adorama. Someday, I will have to throw the "beachballs" in the trash.

Great bag, very good quality! For some reason I expected it to be a bit bigger, but it still works! Pockets for lenses are quite snug - which could ne a good or bad thing - but I love it overall!

My favorite bag. This is the second one that I've bought. The first is still in use and over 10 years old

When shopping for a bag 4+ years ago I was looking for something that was going to last. I have had bags in the past and they were less money but just didn't last. This thing has been made for many years and I liked the reviews and am so glad I bought it. I hardly review products and never review them within the first 6 months or even a year from purchase. So when I went to place an order this past week I saw this past purchase in my history, looked over at my bag that I use daily (I'm a professional photojournalist) and said: "Yup, This bag deserves a review." If you are thinking about it, just buy it. I do wish I could find more of the wax they give you to treat this bag. I haven't been able to find a good replacement for it. I have wax treated this bag about a dozen times or so as per the instructions and never had moisture penetrate the bag or damage any of my gear. Keep up the good work Domke, My F-2 bag will indeed last a long, LONG time. 5-Stars! (Something else I never Ever do.)

I've been using Domke bags for about 40 years. They are sturdy and reliable. This model does a good job of being weather resistant. Carries a lot too. I wish they'd get a little more adventurous in their color offerings.

I've used Domke bags for almost 30 years now and have always found them to be a sound design. I needed something that I could carry two DSLR bodies and several big professional lenses about it, and this bag fits the bill. My only wish is that they made the lens compartment inset a bit larger as it is really a tight fit to get three large lenses in the available compartments. It's also a bit tight with two professional DSLR bodies with large battery grips, but they will fit. The plus side of this bag is the fact it's not overly large and perfectly manageable. If you are going from location to location, this will be the perfect carrying bag for your gear, but I'm not sure I would want to walk around all day with it on my shoulder. The waterproof canvas is also a big plus. Not only is it ascetically pleasing, it's also quite practical as well.

I have gone through multiple camera bags and have had a difficult time finding a bag that can accommodate and protect my camera bodies, lenses, and accessories. The Domke F2 fits a lot more than initially meets the eye. The bag is padded in the right places to keep it light and non-bulky. I can easily fit 2 x camera bodies, 4 x lenses, and have room for plenty of other accessories via the lid's zipper pouch, 2 x side pockets, and 2 x front pockets. The material is very durable and the bag is coated to repel water. Stitching and hardware are all durable and will withstand years of hard use. I'll never buy another brand of camera bag again. Domke is worth the money and looks fantastic!

This bag is not only ruggedly stylish, but also functional, in particular for a day camera bag or carry on. It has space for equipment and several other things. It is lightweight and easy to carry.

Easily the most durable, long-lasting, photo accessory I ever owned. I have a couple of these bags I bought over 30 years ago that I still use.

It's a nice bag, but I need more room because I carry two led lights and about 25 filters. I returned it and Adorama did not give me a hassle. I think the best thing to do is buy these in the store where you can see whether they're big enough.

Have three Domke bags. Their use is based on what I need to carry on any shoot. Easy to rearrange. Inconspicuous in the field.

Just the right size. Classic bag that is versatile and easy to carry. Not as well padded as my backpack, but it's lighter and easier to stow for when I'm traveling and don't want to carry an obvious pack around. I reserve the backpack for the woods and carry this to museums and as an under-seat bag on planes and trains. I added the post office style shoulder pad for more comfort.

Own the little smaller bag, but needed a little more space. Just what I needed. Fits great, feels great. Not for fashion victims.

First of all, my dad bought this bag when they first came on the market in the late 70's. I am still using the bag today. The only thing I have done is put a better strap on it, not that the old one was worn out though. In all this time there have been no rips, or tears or repairs needed in all that time. I've carried the bag with me from places like Panama, to Bosnia and Iraq as well as all over Europe. Right now I have a Nikon D-2H, A D-5100 body, five lenses, a Nikon SB 6-000 flash and assorted filters, batteries and a right angle finder and remote for the D-2H in it. I also carry the Kodak Pro Photographers guide, cleaning stuff, cords etc in the zippered pocket on the top. The only regret is that I can't carry a Sunpak 522 or similar flash in it easily.

With three Pelican cases and three different sizes of LowePro Stealth Camera bags I was wondering if I really needed another bag. But the Domke F2 kept calling my name and I recently answered its call. We hit it off together immediately. Initially I was a bit peeved at the minimum padding. Four small "slots" for two bodies, three lenses and a few flash units?? Really??? But then I realized that this quality bag with great looks wasn't a heavy hauler. She was a sports car. An Italian model with smooth lines, soft skin and awesome looks. She wasn't meant to do the heavy lifting, she was there to look good. Carry your cameras around your neck at the ready and have an awesome light and great looking bag that holds just the few extra accessories that you might need at your side. Our relationship got even better as I moved the insert to the side and tossed in another holster style bag with he top cut off. Now my baby has padding all around and we go everywhere together. Now if TrekPak would jump on the Domke F2 bandwagon and would make an insert for it life would be complete.

Some like the Domke bag, some don't. If you do, and you sometimes get caught in rain or snow, consider upgrading to this model. It sheds even heavy rain completely -- I know! Sand and dirt brush off easily, too. If you shoot in the woods and fields you won't worry so much about having to set the bag on the ground. I'm less inclined to stay home when there's a chance of rain now, a common occurrence in Florida in summer. And I have a few hundred photos of ominous skies to prove it!

Quite easily can you fit the following: 60D + grip w/ 30mm 1.4 Sigma attached, 580EXII (or two), 11-16 2.8 Tokina, 150mm/2.8 Sigma Macro + 2x teleconverter, 5 batteries, my cleaning goodies, my filter pack, and a standard size book in the back pocket. It's a wonderful bag and I'm only looking to upgrade to find something to also carry my laptop at the same time!

I've owned ten Domke bags of various sizes over the years and the "rugged wear" bag is one of the best. The F-2 bags have always allowed me to get so much gear into just a single bag and they are so versatile in that respect. Another winner.

I usually use a small sling bag when out and about and store my lenses, flash, etc in the Domke. I take the Domke with me when I know I want to take more gear. I can carry quite a bit in this bag.

This bag is tough, compact and it's just want I need to tote my equipment. I usually carry 3 lenses and I'm still able to put my camera body in as well. Love the side and front pockets and the inside one is great for little cords, straps, clips and everything else I always need on a shoot. Only con I can find is the price, it's pretty expensive, but I'm happy I bought it!

I really like this bag, it looks great and it does the job well. I have seen other reviews on this product, and one of the complaints was that there wasnt enough padding, no problem, just buy some padding and insert it your self.l

No Better Bag In The Field
By DAN S.
There is no better bag in the field than this bag. I am a photographer for a newspaper and this bag stays on my shoulder all day long. All pockets are easily accessible. Changing lenses, grabbing a notepad, changing batteries can all be done without sitting this bag down and searching thru a mess of equipment. This bag is best transporting & carrying equipment while working in the field, it will NOT offer a great deal of protection for your equipment!! It is not meant for that - it is no...

I love this bag!
By Limited.Edition
I love this bag! I have read reviews that it doesn't have a lot of padding. It doesn't need it if you take care when you are using the bag. Who doesn't? Who throws the bag on the floor with their camera and equipment in it? I used it this last weekend when I flew to Montana. I took the dividers out, set my camera body on the bottom, with my 70-300 lens on it. I also packed my handbag in with the camera. I loaded it down with my battery charger, my power cord for my laptop and a few o...
