There is no liner. Just rough canvas with your expensive camera dangling around. I had to pay 8.75 to return. Will be the last order from Adorama.

I have had several Domke bags and loved them all. The F-803 is no exception. It is rugged and reliable—the perfect bag for use with a mirrorless camera system. I use it with my Fujifilm X T-20 and it works beautifully.

Like many of you, I am camera bag rich and carry poor. This bag is truly unique. I can carry my Sony A7 with 35mm Zeiss mounted and my 70-200mmG4 and some associated small gear (batteries, charger, etc.). The external front upper zip pockets are virtually worthless, unless you need to carry a match book. The rear slot pocket is potentially good for an iPad...don't know as I don't carry one with my gear. Easily my favorite bag in years. Construction is Dome (I have a few others) top notch and substantial. The keeper strap is solid and not easily opened-strong. Hope this helps.

I was looking around for something a bit more better looking in a camera bag. I do like the look and feel of canvas bags as opposed to the nylon bags. I stumbled upon the "wax wear" bags from domke. I loved the look of them and went to the store and fell in love with the finish even more. I love the "worn" look and as reviews have stated, I look forward to using the bag regularly to get a more work look. The size was perfect...I am not the biggest person so the smaller messenger style is a great fit. I have read many reviews stating that these bags are perfect for the smaller DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. I wanted something to fit my 5DIII with attached lens plus another lens and maybe a flash. I found a perfect fit in this bag. Though at first glance the bag seems a bit small, a lot of gear can fit in it. I have attached a few photos of the equipment I was able to fit. To capacity I was able to fit: 5DIII w/ 24-70mm attached, 300mm f/4, Sigma 50mm 1.4, 430exII flash, 580ex Flash, rocket blower, extra battery, memory cards and filters. Though I was able to fit all of this and still was able to close the clasp, I do not think it is very practical to carry all of this as the bag gets bulky, therefore defeating the purpose which most people get it for...its size (3.5" width). Comfortably, I would say 5DIII w/ lens attached and a 70-200mm (both the 70-200 f/4 or the 300mm f/4 fit fine in the included insert). Also a flash 430ex-sized and other smaller necessities such as memory cards, battery, rocket blower, and cleaning cloths. With all of these, the bag will not exceed its normal dimensions of 14x10x3.5" by much. I look forward to many trips with this bag. I must advise that only one insert is included. The rest of the bag is a coated canvas material so there isn't much padding for anything outside of that insert. If your bag gets knocked around, all of the equipment that isn't in an insert will feel it. I know that Domke has a three-part insert that sells separately for about $25 which I may consider. One thing I cannot comment on is the complaints I have read in other reviews that the wax wear finish rubs off. So far..so good. I will update my review if necessary after I re-apply the wax, which was provided by Domke in a small can. Overall this is solid minimal bag for most camera. The only type of camera I absolutely would not recommend for this bag would be full sized camera such as the 1Dx or full sized DSLRs with grips attached. I feel that though they would fit, it would defeat the purpose of the bag.

Perfect for my Sony nex-6 and an extra lens plus spare batteries ,a charger and my iPad Looks great and does not advertise "camera" Have not tried to use it with my D7000 with a grip. Have added the Domke insert which provides additional padding Great purchase

Holds all I need to travel with, and it looks good. Hard to tell that it's a camera bag which is the look I was after.

Nice bag but not practical when carrying expensive gear around. Padding is insufficient which is why this bag is light weight. The snap in the front to open the bag is a pain when I need to get to my camera quickly. I also find that the wax cause smudges to my gear and made it a pain to have to wipe it off every time I take my camera out of the bag. Many Leica shooters would tell you that this is the bag but if you are going to have such an expensive camera, wouldn't you want to protect it with a bag that is well padded?

I've had this bag now for about 12 years and carry it frequently. It has held up well. The canvas is comfortable to the touch, and even when the color wears, the patina makes it age gracefully. The clasp is secure and makes it difficult for pickpockets to open, yet users can open it quickly. The 3 sections I have hold a Minolta CLE rangefinder (but would work fine for a Leica or Zeiss rangefinder) and I have the 28 and 90 mm lenses in another section, and a very large flash in the third section. The pocket on the back can hold one magazine. The two pockets on the front have flaps and can carry different accessories, and two smaller flat pockets on the main flap can hold very flat accessories. It's well-designed, well-made, and a bargain at the price. I was lucky enough to have purchased the Emerald Edition, in green, with brown leather trim around the edges. Although the color has been discontinued, the new bags have exactly the same design (minus the leather trim).

This is a great bag for a daily trip. It easily accommodates my D90, a 200mm zoom lens, and another lens as well. It's very inconspicuous and looks more like a small, canvas attache. It's exactly what I was looking for.

the most inconspicuous bag you can carry - while in Rome on a business trip it carried a calculator, note pad for meetings and a Contax G2 with 3 lenses, flash and film. It didn't look any different than the satchels everyone else was carrying - just perfect.

The Domke F-803 currently houses my DSLR Body, 50mm, 18-55mm, 28-135mm, 75-300mm, lensbaby 2.0, blower, filters, and battery grip. The bag is just about at capacity now, but carrying any more would be too heavy. The biggest plus, in my opinion, is that is doesn't scream "camera bag" so people are less likely to target you.

Hauled this bag around Finland, Estonia and Russia with an M6, 3 lenses, a Lomo and a Leica CM. Fantastic bag. I love it. The clasp is a little hard to open (some people replace it) but I got used to it, and maybe that's a good thing to discourage pickpockets. A few times through the washer/dryer and it's already aging nicely. Looks more like an army surplus/messenger bag than a camera bag, which was the whole point.

I was looking for a camera bag that I could take to South America and not advertise that I was carrying a camera. This does the job. I can easily carry my Canon Rebel XTi, Canon 70-300, Tamron 18-200 and Canon 50mm fixed lens, plus filters, remote shutter release, extra batteries, etc - without looking like a target and in a secure bag. The padding is adequate for the purpose. - Paul

This is probably my 5th or 6th Domke bag just like this..wonderful for hauling a small Leica "Kit". It does not look like a camera bag, which is one of the beauties of the bag.The bag is padded just enough to provide protection for the gear. Easy in and out, and out of the way. Great travel bag when you are places where you do not want you bag to leave your shoulder for any reason.

This bag quickly became my best friend.
