OK, only in my opinion. I'm a photographer since more than 50 years. During this time I owned numerous bags. Most of them were stolen or lost. So at the moment I'm left with 14 bags, very small, small, middle, big, too big... Among them 4 Domkes, the F-2, F-6 and anything with 5, the Journalist Chronicle being the newest one and for me the best and ultimate one for 2 cameras, 5 lenses, 2 flash, a 10" tablet and a lot of accessories. IMHO this is the best one Domke ever built. I don't take the list price of 460 US$ seriously, even the market price of 280 bucks seems to be kind of weird. But I paid it and I don't regret it. The only complaint about the "Military Green/Black Trim" version is the red zippers. Hey guys, photographers usually don't look for attention of other people to stare at their camera equipment. Why then the red zippers? Next Domke version with LEDs flashing? I guess this idea was not born by the "professional photographers (who field-tested the prototype bags)" but a crazy idea of the "innovative design team". But nevertheless no reason to deduct a star.

Needed a lot of room but wanted a 'cool' bag that did not scream please-steal-my-expensive-camera-set. Not a fan of the red but otherwise it's perfect. Had to buy 1 or 2 more inserts to fit my needs.

This is the best camera bag I have purchased. It is well designed and constructed. Best of all, the bag is made in USA.
