The LS200N-SR1 is designed with a focus on alignment. The new parabolic umbrellas require the light source to be centered and on-axis with the umbrella shaft. With the two flash heads separated by a mere 3/4 of an inch at the umbrella shaft mount, the LS200N-SR1 allows the umbrella shaft to pass through the light source, ensuring the light is properly focused.

When using a softbox light modifier, both flash heads output light through the center of the included speedring. This speedring not only ensures optimal light distribution but also allows for quick mounting and removal of the softbox.

The 14mm wide panel on the Nikon SB-910, SB-900 ensures superior light distribution across the surface of the softbox. This outperforms a studio light with an optional internal baffle, with graduated density. In fact, the LS200N-SR1 delivers exceptional performance without the need for the optional internal baffle in most applications.

The LS200N-SR1 also features a built-in receptacle for a RadioPopper PX receiver with a 2-way splitter. This directs ETTL signals to both SB-910, SB-900 speedlights via fiber optics. A RadioPopper PX transmitter mounted to an on-camera SU-800 or master SB-910, SB-900 provides full wireless ETTL capability without the need for line of sight. A single RadioPopper system provides a seamless radio link between the on-camera Nikon SU-800 or the master SB-910, SB-900 and the LS200N-SR1.

The package includes a pole mounting clamp capable of mounting two Nikon SD-9 battery packs, or two Quantum Turbo 2x2, or two Turbo3 battery packs. Additionally, a shaft spacer is included that sets the proper focal length for Westcott No. 4632, No. 4633, and No. 4634 7 feet parabolic umbrellas.
