The d:screet CORE 4063 is part of a series that includes the 4060, 4061, 4062, and 4071 Omni Miniature Mics. They all stem from the original d:screet 4060, the first miniature microphone developed by DPA, utilizing top-tier technology previously exclusive to hearing aids and measurement microphones.

This durable microphone is designed to withstand harsh conditions, thanks to its 5.4 mm diameter pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm. The unique Double Vent Protection System makes the microphone highly resistant to humidity and sweat, making it ideal for use in challenging environments.

The d:screet CORE 4063 is equipped with a Kevlar-reinforced cable relief, built to endure the constant twists, bends, and pulls that come with everyday use. It also features an acoustic response that can be modified by selecting the correct grid for the job. The microphone comes with two grids, the Soft Boost Grid and the High Boost Grid, both made of anodized stainless steel for a tough and scratch-resistant surface.

The d:screet 4063 is acoustically identical to the d:screet 4060 but is designed to work with transmitters providing only 3V bias voltage. It can handle sound pressure levels up to 138 dB before clipping occurs, ensuring clear and distortion-free audio even in noisy environments.
