The housing case is meticulously crafted from steel, including the back, top, front, and endcaps, ensuring durability and stability. The bottom panel is designed to form a slot for the viewing surface, which is easily removable for convenient access. This symmetrical housing allows for flexible motor placement on either the left or right side, and the viewing surface can unroll from either the back or front of the roller, offering installation versatility. The case is equipped with a bottom flange for seamless trim around the ceiling opening edges.

The roller and fabric assembly can be installed either at the factory or on-site, with brackets that slide in a track inside the top of the case. This feature allows the viewing surface to be perfectly centered, regardless of screen size. The roller itself is constructed from 3" (76 mm) diameter steel, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.

The viewing surface is enhanced with a 12" (30 cm) black drop at the top for optimal masking. It is flame and mildew resistant, providing long-lasting performance. Choose between the Matte White XT1000V and Contrast Gray XH600V (for tab-tension screens only) viewing surfaces, both of which are GREENGUARD certified for low chemical emissions, promoting healthier indoor air quality.

The screen is powered by an electrically operated 110-120V AC, 60 Hz motor, featuring a 4-wire configuration mounted inside the screen roller. It boasts a maximum current draw of 1.1 amps, is instantly reversible, lifetime lubricated, and includes an internal thermal overload protector and electric brake. For a quieter operation, an optional motor reduces noise by approximately 30%, operating at 44 dB.

The housing includes an internal junction box, facilitating early installation and wiring to building supply wires. This junction box features a plug-in style connector that seamlessly integrates with the motorized roller/fabric assembly.

Control the screen with a 3-position switch (or multiple switches, as specified), allowing you to stop or reverse the screen at any point. Each switch comes with a cover plate for a polished finish.

Mounting this projection screen is versatile, with options to use a 3/8" (9.5 mm) threaded rod, lag screws, or wire in a grid ceiling. The mounting brackets slide within 18" (457 mm) long channels on the top of the case, enabling easy adjustment to avoid conflicts with building structures. Secure the brackets by tightening screws, and angle them as needed to meet specific installation requirements.
