Great deal on a rock pedal!
Great quality pedal for the price. I am more of a low/medium gain guy so, I have the gain turned down quite a bit. I can see where a rocker would love this pedal. Lots of gain to be had and plays nice with the guitar volume knob.
Good Pedal, Great Price
High quality product. Gives a good smooth boost with usable distortion. Probably more suited to 70s and 80s style rock rather than death metal. Rugged construction. One slight annoyance--if you use a battery rather than a separate power supply you have to take the back off to install/replace the battery. Not really a big deal if you plan ahead. I'm very happy with mine.

The Gunslinger's brushed-metal housing looks as tough as it sounds and its true bypass circuitry keeps your tone pristine.
The DOD Gunslinger's MOSFET circuit clips at a gradual, steady rate when overdriven, offering clipping properties and harmonics similar to those from preamp tubes in a guitar amp. The Gunslinger is designed to react to the dynamics of your playing. The distortion will "clean up" when you play softly and become more aggressive when you dig in and attack your strings. The DOD Gunslinger offers independent Gain, Level, Low (Tone) and High (Tone) controls. Its true bypass circuitry allows your guitar tone to remain pristine even when the DOD Gunslinger is off and its modern 9V DC power supply input and compact size make it pedalboard friendly.
