The V-Mic D4 Mini is a high-quality, affordable miniature microphone that allows users to capture directional audio and reject sounds coming from off-camera. The D4 Mini utilizes a new offset shockmount that makes it the ideal microphone for use with wide angle vlogging cameras or action cameras. The side-mounted output jack is also perfect for hybrid DSLR shooters who still want to use their eyepiece for taking photos. The V-Mic D4 Mini features an input jack that allows you to split your stereo audio tracks and easily insert a secondary audio source, like a wireless microphone, without a splitter cable.The input jack automatically inserts the second audio source when you insert a 3.5mm TRS connector. The audio is routed to the right audio channel on your camera. The input jack also features plug-in-power passed thru from the camera. This allows you use to a passive lavalier like the Deity V.Lav.Note: The input jack does not work when you are using the V-Mic D4 Mini with a mono recorder or a cell phone.

Great little Mic, I've just started using it with my ZV-E10 and I've been loving it. Perfect size for this camera, great audio and easy of use.

Great microphone for small cameras

I'm not a professional. My content is geared towards capturing the moments with my family and this does a great job capturing the audio while still sounding incredibly clear.

Perfect

I was actually quite surprised at the audio quality from this mic. It's tiny but delivers nice tone, and is surprisingly clear and sensitive, even when the subject is a few yards away. The size is nice, especially for use on a gimbal. The only thing I don't like is that it really shakes around a lot having only one cradle clip. I've found that using a rubber band or hair tie wrapped from the back of the mic down to the base helps stabilize it.
