DVDO-CAT-Audio-300 is an audio extender that can transmit digital optical and analog audio signals up to 300m/990ft (48kHz), 150m/495ft (96kHz) or 100m/330ft (192kHz) via a single CAT5E6 cable.
It supports LPCM, DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus audio formats over optical audio. It features a built-in DAC (Digital to Analog Converter), allowing the optical signal coming from the transmitter to be converted to analog output on the receiver end.
It also supports bi-directional PoC (Power over Cable), allowing the micro USB power cable to be connected to either the transmitter or the receiver.
