The RMC-300A boasts a user-friendly interface with a 5-inch LCD touch panel, complemented by hardware buttons, allowing for seamless navigation and control. This intuitive design ensures that users can efficiently manage camera settings and operations, including shutter, focus, iris, gain, zoom, and movement speeds. The controller's dual USB 2.0 ports enhance device connectivity, while the 10/100Mbps Ethernet port with an RJ-45 connector ensures reliable network integration. Its smart PTZ speed adaptation, powered by an integrated PID algorithm, detects the movement speed of identified objects and automatically adjusts the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom speeds. For professional use, the RMC-300A enables single-person control of pan, tilt, and zoom functions with a 2-axis joystick and zoom knob. It supports three speed settings fast, medium, and slow allowing for dynamic video effects that match professional broadcasting standards. The controller's 14-position memory can be customized to display these speed settings, ensuring versatility in filming techniques.

The RMC-300A further enhances user interaction with Image Key and Graphic Key functionalities. Image Key allows operators to use camera screenshots as placeholders on the selection menu, simplifying view switching during live events. Graphic Key uses pre-loaded graphics to label camera feeds, aiding directors in managing complex setups. Additionally, the controller supports live video preview on its screen via RTSP, enabling real-time monitoring without the need for extra software or hardware.

With remote control capabilities via Ethernet or RS-422, the RMC-300A can manage PTZ and block cameras, as well as robotic camera heads like the Datavideo PTR-10 series.
