Along with Smart Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Watchdog Star-Light technology offers a slow shutter feature that increases the length of time the shutter remains open to collect additional ambient light illuminating typically dark environments.

Smart DNR 3D Digital Noise Reduction
Smart DNR 3D Digital Noise Reduction increases the camera's clarity in very low light environments by using a unique algorithm to clean electronic noise signals that can reduce the camera's visibility and trigger false motion detection events. Digital Watchdog's special noise reduction technology allows the camera to produce clearer images in both color and B/W in low light without creating lag or ghost effects in the image.

Auto Focus Lens
The Cameras are equipped with a delicate auto focus mechanism for remote lens configuration. The camera's focal length can be adjusted remotely from the camera's web client with no need for additional cabling. Once the camera's zoom operation is complete, the camera will autocratically focus to the new scene and Field of View. This allows the MEGApix cameras to offer clear and focused image every time, regardless of zoom and lens adjustments.

Star-Light Super Low Light Technology
Star-Light Technology provides crisp clear images in both color and Black and White in extreme low light conditions. Star-Light technology offers a slow shutter feature that increases the length of time the shutter remains open to collect additional light, illuminating typically dark environments. The technology also utilizes Digital Noise Reduction and Highlight Masking Exposure to enhance the image clarity, offering a clear image in any lighting condition.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
Wide Dynamic Range technology mechanically allows to capture an entire scene in challenging lighting conditions. One shutter is set to a short exposure, capturing the bright areas in the FoV, while the other is set for a long exposure, capturing the dark areas in the FoV. The camera then interlaces the images and combines them, capturing both areas with no loss of detail. This allows for an image capture even when there are very bright and dark areas in the camera's field of view or images are distorted by a strong backlight.
