The Core 59's new bass driver is the result of over 18 months of intensive research into subwoofer driver technology. The outcome is a new copper voice-coil and glass-fiber former, pushed by ceramic magnets and a 500W class-D Pascal amplifier. This gives the 9-inch long-excursion woofer even more grip on the bottom without sacrificing a deep frequency response.

The Core 59's Orbit baffle rotates, allowing for flexible positioning in left, right, or center-channel orientation. It's also compatible with standard VESA mounting brackets or our custom K&M bracket, making it versatile for wall or ceiling mounting in multichannel or immersive-audio reference systems such as Dolby ATMOS.

The Core 59 features a sophisticated yet user-friendly DSP system, with two DSP filter switches to address its position and boundary locations. It also includes a low-frequency 80Hz Linkwitz-Riley cutoff for use with a subwoofer to extend the low-frequency response.
