I had a DYMO Label for about 10 years, but it wasn't compatible with my new computer, so I bought the 450. What a waste of money. I've had it less than a year and it is already nothing more than a paperweight. When I try to print, it wraps around the spool and jams every time. I am throwing it away. Also, the older version imported my Outlook Contacts list. With this one, I have to copy and paste each time or wait for the contact list to populate. Sometimes the older version is better than the so-called new and improved.

We love our DYMO 400 but purchased a 450 for another desk. Where is the layout showing tabs: Labels, Insert, Address Book like on the 400?

I switched computers which required a fresh download of Dymo Connect. A feature that I liked in the previous version is GONE! I had over a hundred addresses in the previous version that I'm unable to import into Dymo Connect. The Dymo Connect application doesn't recognize that any files even exist in the source directory. I can easily export *.CSV of the addresses that I want but DC won't see them. This is a feature that does not work. I'd be a happier customer if a listed feature worked. Even so - it does print fine. The previous version of the Win10 app was better than the newer version.

I've been using a LabelWriter 450 for over 4+ years, it's always printed great: Using Windows 10 (upgraded from Win 7), Dymo Connect v1.1 (Nov 2019) Primarily use 30256 shipping label: PDF exports from SAP, and Word 365 templates However, must use Dymo Label v8.5 (July 2015) for (rotated) Dymo 1.25" x 2.25 labels It's always been consistent even when changing spools.

Due to the pandemic, our office moved to a tent outside and we have found the Dymo 450 Turbo will not print labels at temps below 30 degrees. I think this is because of the device's thermal technology but do you have any suggestion how to print labels. Do I need a different label now that I am outside? Thank you.

The only one that keeps working is the Windows XP version. I keep it just for the label maker. The new Dymo Connect is the worst software I have ever used. Labelwriter 450. Wasted so many. Prints right 10% of tries.

Device works fine and software is mostly user friendly. Printer randomly disconnected and now no longer works. I am unable to locate the printer and have tried removing and relocating the printer with Windows 10 add printer wizard. Have also tried complete uninstall of software and drivers, but it's still not working. This is apparently a known issue. DYMO, this is unacceptable at this point. If your software is unable to locate the printer and assist the user with installation, IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY.

I absolutely LOVED my label maker prior to the windows 2010 upgrade at my library. Now my DYMO LabelWriter450 is NOT user friendly and a pain in the neck to use. Please please make this compatible with Windows 2010. It would make my work day soooo much easier. Thank you

The 450 is not compatible with Office 365, so your address book of contacts is not recognized. Support says a there is no fix contemplated. That’s a huge shortcoming.

Replaced the one we had. Good price ,the the place we get our program for food labeling was charging twice the amount for the same printer. This one works with the label program just fine. We at 12 employees using it each day through out the week.

I work in IT support and have had Dymo's that I've had to re-install multiple times for users. Usually it's trying to use the wrong driver, so the software isn't detecting it anymore. I assume the driver screws up during Windows 10 updates but it's still ridiculous that Dymo drivers don't seem to be interact with Windows 10 well.

I had windows 7 for work, then I was upgraded to windows 10. With that I also received a newer version of DYMO LabelWriter. The new layout for the DYMO LabelWriter 450 looks clean and up to date. But that is all that is good about it. The software is supposed to be simple, fast, and easy to use, but It's functuality has gotten worst. Now there are multiple clicks to make one or more labels. It is slower even for just 1 label. No double click action to highlight anymore. Now I have to Highlight everything. It doesn't keep my font or the size of the label from the previous day either. I know these are little things to complain about. But if you had software that was easy to use, smart, and fast... Why would you change for garbage. I believe Dymo just wasted money for no reason. And now your customers has to suffer.

This little machine works perfectly for printing small or large quantities of labels and multiple size labels. Easy to change out labels too.

I get a lot of use for this LabelWriter around my house. I do many different things that require nicely printed labels and the various size labels handle the situation very well. The bonus is, the labels are dry printed and no ink involved.

I bought this product about a month and a half ago, and it makes AP cheque runs SO much easier. Sometimes I notice that the big blue "print" button in the Dymo app/driver is not available to print, but I found that if I choose how many and then hit the print button on the top of the page, I get the same result which saves me time. The only feature I am slightly disappointed in is the no-colour feature. It didn't bother me until I tried to add our company logo (which is black grey and red) into our return address. Other than that I have had zero problems - no jams, no excessive blanks, no connection issues - our office uses Mac products too, which had me a little worried.

You must have the printer connected to use the software - so I cant create lists while I'm on the road for printing later. Too restrictive for me.

Been happy with this and do not use it often from my Mac, which is good as I never (the last couple of years) have been able to print more than one label before restarting the Dymo to print one more. Was seeing the updated drivers now 8.5.2 and was thinking to download in the hope (not really, but a little) that it would make it possible to print more than one label, but the download links are not working ... .

We use this for library book spine labels and for address labels for envelopes. Could not ask for better convenience or ease of use. Easy to switch out the labels to use a different size. We work in a very fast-paced media center and it has made our life so much easier to create a spine label on the fly or an address label to mail something quickly.

Our Turbo 330 has been in daily use since it was first offered by DYMO. That is many, many years. We buy labels 20 rolls at a time. Never a problem. It finally gave out today. I purchased a new 450 right away. The 330 paid for itself many times over. I have nothing but respect for any man-made device that could stand up to this usage for so may years. Long live DYMO.
Dymo LabelWriter 450 takes the hassles out of label printing. Connect the DYMO LabelWriter 450 label printer to your PC or Mac and you're ready to print impressive address labels, shipping labels, file folder labels, name badges, inventory labels, barcode labels and more - all without the extra work and hassles of printing sheet labels on a standard desktop printer.
The LabelWriter 450 printer uses thermal printing technology, so you don't need expensive in or toner, ever. And with the included software you can print labels directly from popular software programs, verify US addresses and ZIP+4 codes and much more.
