EARTEC HUB Intercoms with Global Connect and lightweight Headsets provide discreet full duplex communication over IP enhancing the capability of videoconferencing and video telephony. When added to a computer or smartphone these Global Connect systems allow up to 8 mobile wireless users on one side of a web chat to communicate hands free through computer or cell phone to persons on the other side of the call anywhere in the world over the internet.All Global Connect systems begin with a custom wireless intercom that includes a compact repeater called The HUB along with any combination of up to 8 UltraPAK transceivers with plug-in Headsets. The HUB is a mini base station that provides larger groups hands free wireless communication. UltraPAK are compact full duplex radios that are linked via the HUB right "Out of The Box". To operate simply turn your HUB and UltraPAK "ON" and talk. lightweight Monarch Headsets options provide discreet operation and outstanding comfort. The complete HUB w/ UltraPAK intercom interfaces with the internet via the Global Connect kit that includes an interconnect cable assembly for smartphone as well as USB with soundcard for laptop / desktop. Once a videoconference or webchat is established via Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams etc. simply plug-in your HUB system and everyone that is communicating within a 400-yard range is automatically linked to your party or parties on the other side of the internet conference / chat. (iPhone requires dongle, not included)Since all Eartec transceivers are field programmable standard 2-person systems are easily expandable simply by adding additional UltraPAK with Monarch Headsets. Operating in the non-licensed DECT band (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology) the HUB Global Connect will not interfere with other RF equipment including WIFI.- Monarch Plug-In Headsets -The Monarch Headset If you require comfortable industrial headsets, look no further than the Monarch. These lightweight headsets were originally designed for use with commercial speech recognition computers. They are manufactured with PBT, the same material used to make automobile bumpers and are built for rough industrial environments. Monarch headsets feature a slender backband that offers a unisex fit. They are equally at home on the floor of a TV studio or inside the cab of a tower crane.- UltraPAK Transceivers -UltraPAK are compact, powerful full duplex transceivers designed specifically for crews that need hands free, voice communication and also require discreet, lightweight Headsets. This traditional beltpack / Headsets configuration affords the flexibility of selecting between midweight and lightweight Headsets and provides outstanding full duplex performance within a 300 yard range.UltraPAK are the smallest full duplex radios on the market weighing only 2.5 oz. They feature an ergonomic cabinet and a military clothing / belt clip. The silicone sealed microphone mute button includes an LED that illuminates red when engaged indicating that the microphone gain is cut off. A volume control assembly includes 5 "Up or Down" settings, and the Headsets jack is a simple, robust, 2 pin style.Another terrific feature of UltraPAK systems is that the Lithium Polymer batteries (included) charge externally and are field replaceable. This allows you to keep spare charged batteries on hand extending the run time of your system indefinitely.Up to eight UltraPAK transceivers can be connected in full duplex through The HUB, a digital repeater that includes two channels of communication. Pressing the CH combine button links all UltraPAK in the system.An added benefit is that HUB transceivers can be utilized as an additional beltpack expanding the capacity to a crew of nine all communicating in full duplex. When clipped comfortably to the user's waist this digital repeater moves seamlessly with your group allowing crews to talk simultaneously within a 400-yard range.Two operating channels are built-into the HUB circuitry so that separate groups of four can talk privately, and pressing the CH button creates an eight-person conference. A dual pin jack allows addition of a wired Headsets extending the talk net to nine users.The Modular capabilities of the HUB Mini Base provide sound solutions to complicated communication problems. When a larger talking pattern is required two separate HUB intercoms with eight users can be linked via the interface cable assembly doubling capacity to 16 full duplex transceivers. Extension cables to this interconnect of 50, 100, and 200 feet lengths are also available which allows you to separate the HUBs, stretching the range and supplying wireless signal to areas that may be difficult to reach.
