All electronics, including the battery, are ingeniously built inside the headset earcups, eliminating the need for wires and belt-worn radios. The microphone boom arm on each headset swivels 270 degrees, offering the flexibility to be worn on either the left or right side. The microphone conveniently mutes when positioned upwards, ensuring uninterrupted workflow. Each UltraLITE wireless headset comes with a field-replaceable Lithium battery, conveniently housed in a special compartment within the headset. These lightweight batteries, roughly the size of a matchbook, charge in approximately three hours and provide up to six hours of operation. The system also includes a Multi-Port Charger, capable of charging the headset batteries in individual bays. LED indicators change from red to green when each battery reaches full charge, allowing users to easily monitor battery status.
