Perfect for the job.
I bought this for a young photographer who is 12. He is just starting out, and as with most boys, he sometimes will do something unexpected. While this cover will not prevent a catastrophic from breaking the camera, it will help with the normal dings. The fact that he like camo is a big plus. It is easy to put onto the camera body and you still have access to all buttons and functions.
