Exactly what I was hoping
Exactly what I was hoping for. I've used the LX arm before, and feel the MXV is better in both design and features such as the built in rotation stop.
Very high quality construction and comes pre-assembled, but still includes all tools needed for adjustment. The matte black finish looks great in person, and adds to the unobtrusiveness. I'm using it with a 27" display that's about 12 lbs, and haven't had any issues after adjusting the lift and tilt tension a bit.

Underwhelmed and a little disappointed
This feels quite a bit cheaper and less stable than the HX. The movement and function feel gritty and less fluid. I think I could have gotten the same thing for less...

Great product
Perfect monitor arm for the Apple studio display and fits like a charm. Setup was so easy since the arm comes pre assembled. The build quality and finish is second to none. Worth the price

Outstanding Product and Unprecedented Customer Service!
I cannot say enough good things about this monitor arm, and the Customer Service I've received from Ergotron!
As a primarily bed-ridden paralytic, with a lot of unique configuration needs, the very specific position and measurement requirements are often taxing. I worked with several Ergotron folks, including Mary B., Micah, and Leah, as I customized this MXV Arm to meet my needs, and way exceed my expectations and hopes.
As this is my first experience with an Ergotron product, I can easily say I will never need to look elsewhere, again.
My Most Sincere Thanks to the entire team at Ergotron. You Absolutely ROCK!!!

SOlid construction. Looks great. Cable routing could be improved but that's a minor issue.

Great product, and great Return help just in case.
I accidentally purchased the wrong stand for my installation method, and they gladly refunded me the purchase price after paying for me to ship it back. I did buy the right stand too and love it so far. A+. Happy Customer! - Chris M. - OHIO

Great product but be extra careful when tightening hardware
The arm was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. installation was mostly a positive experience with one hiccup. I needed to install the longer barrel screws from step 1a and in the process of moving over the metal cup washers the small set screw that keeps them in place snapped off with very little effort. I managed to still install the arm with no issue but that screw broke way too easily. Once installed, the adjustment process was very easy and holds my Planar 32" display perfectly. I did have to place the base off center on my desktop to get the display to push back to where I wanted it, but it is rock solid and looks great.

Steady and easy to adjust.
Rock solid, easy to adjust, a huge improvement over the the painted plastic clutter that came attached to my monitor. My display now floats above my desk without any fuss, sway, or bounce.

Great monitor arm for Apple Studio Display and LG Ultrafine 5K
I have two of these arms and they are perfect. You just need to dial in the resistance screws to hold the correct weight after you set them up.
The LG is vertical while the new Apple Studio is landscape as my main display. I love being able to shift my monitors around, and push them back when I feel like I need less eye strain to get a bigger distance, or if I need more desk space.
I highly recommend these sturdy MXV Desk Monitor arms!

Exceeds expectations
I've wanted to mount my monitor off of my desk for years. After building a new PC, and purchasing a new sit/stand desk, I decided now was the time. I've used other mounts in the past, I wasn't messing around, Ergotron or bust!! This thing is amazing. I don't have to think about my monitor. I have a MacBook for work, and I use my monitor as a second, I can place it on either side, or above. When work is done, the pc comes out, and I simply sit my laptop aside, pull my monitor down front and center and get playing! Love my monitor arm, it goes where I want it and doesn't budge after.

Great Arm!
Great arm! Holds position well while still being easy to articulate. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. I just feel like it should cost less.

My new Desk life!
Having the monitor floating is excellent, not only for easily adjusting the distance/height from me, but in making the desk open, free instead of cramped. THANKS!
