Bad customer service
Got overcharged. Was 150$ less on the Ergotron Amazon store. Tried to work with CS, seems you dont price match your own store? Didn't have time to return, otherwise would have just bought another and sent it right back.

Great Dual Monitor Arm
Amazing quality. Holds my monitors very sturdily even when I'm lowering and raising my desk (I use a standing desk).

Bought this to house a
Bought this to house a 32" and 27" monitor side by side on a fairly shallow desk. Mounted the pole to the left of the user position, drilled through the table and clamped on via a pole. 32" monitor is on half of the arm, and the other part of that arm is holding up the circular light. I grabbed the tall pole, which wasn't really necessary, and the tall pole sticks up a bit but my wife put a pink party hat on it and so the problem is solved. The ultimate goal of no wires and minimum number o
f things on the desk is solved very well.
Now that I have this success, I have a similar config with 32" in center and 2x27" on left/right that I will buy a couple more stands for, because I don't think just one with just 3 arms will work. You need a much deeper table for the geometry of arms to work out with right angles of the monitors, the center one would need to have the pole way further away than my table can provide.

I LOVE reading the "bad reviews". (there are always some disgruntled people out there). This company BACK up their product so I don't understand where people come across with the "bad" reviews.
Making one call and I was sold on their professionalism as well as being sympathetic to my needs.
I was very fortunate to find this company. I called for technical "pre sales" support with my situation and system layout. I gave them all my parameters and they pretty much nailed it right on the head.
This product was purchased to replace the first one from the big box store that tipped over and could not match the performance the LX offered. This unit is very versatile. The customer service KNEW exactly what fit my bill and the product took less t time to set up then the "junk" from big box. SOLID construction and rugged, and at the same time esthetically pleasing to eye without being "flashy".
This same review will be copied and pasted regarding the LX Extension Arms.
As well as the LX Dual Stacking Arm, we also added the LX Extension Arm to accommodate 4 - 32"32" UltraGear QHD Nano IPS 1ms 165Hz HDR Monitors with G-SYNC Compatibility, and at almost 14 pounds, the stands hardly grunt. The stand is very sturdy. I'm not posting any pictures because the desk is a mess (of course you all know this).
EVERYTHING shown on their website as well as videos are very true to the product. Do your research before calling them.
Cable management is also a treat seeing wires neatly routed. My desk has a grommet already in place (a little bigger than the installation suggest) but it would have worked, but I opted to cut a piece of wood for underneath the desk for proper support for the base. The stand sits neatly on the desk top and there are no holes showing.
Overall, not one issue. Welds and coatings were pristine in my opinion. You get what you pay for.

Why doesn't it tilt downward?
Surprisingly, these stands only have 5 degrees of downward tilt. Despite the fact that they stack vertically, downward tilt is not a natively supported feature. I assumed this would be the case, as for vertically stacked monitors I imagined in most cases you'd want to tilt the top monitor downward, but I was sadly mistaken.

Need to have a better and accurate web compatibility statement
On the website the company indicates compatibility with Msi 32" however the back plate fits only 3 of the 4 screws which caused the monitor to be unstable, I called the service department ( they did recommend an adapter to buy from with supplier) which I did, if you include this adapter with the purchase it would be better! I lost one monitor during this process! Broke the screen after pushing it against the screw!

Quality is very good for Ergotron products
My workstation now has my iMac Pro, a Macbook Pro and three additional 27" 5K monitors. All was built using the LX series of products. I'm super happy!

Love the black matte look
Love the black matte look and feel. Bit disappointed about the tension adjustments. Some of them are located in inconvenient positions. Couldn't find a way to adjust the tension of the rotation of the head, only the pivot.
Installation instructions are terrible.
Overall the product does its job well and only issues were about installation and adjustments which you only really need to do once.

Capable of over-under with heavier older monitors 30+ inches
Have an older 30" Dell from 2008 that is considerably heavier than my newer 34" UW monitor. Wanted and over under with the wider monitor on the bottom but was uncertain if this was capable of supporting the weight. So far (approx 3 mos) it has handlesd both with no droop orn either. sag op

Dual Stacking
Works great, stable. I'm using in my RV/Camper attached to dinette table and it's working well. Right now I have the laptop attachment and that works convenient so I can look up vs down at the laptop. Moving towards a external monitor, have not tested with that yet. The movement is smooth so I can slide the laptop around and also choose between sitting and standing (I have the tall pole). I use an external keyboard/trackball. Working on mounting off the table that will free up some room. Given this is the only table/desk it's been good to free up space on the table for eating, etc.. with the laptop hovering above. I would purchase again.

Solid Stand high quality - lacking minor touches.
Overall its a great stand. Feels sturdy and the parts used feel high quality parts are used. But when spending this much I was surprised to see they provide zip ties to manage cables. Not something you would expect at $400. Additionally there is no ability to tilt the monitor down. When positioning a monitor high, ergonomically it would be nice to allow for a downward tilt position on the monitor.

Great Build But Missing Monitor Sliding Motion
This Ergotron monitor stand is built really well and looks great. However, one major drawback is the lack of a left/right sliding motion ability on the monitors. This becomes apparent when you have limited space across a desk that is against a wall. I was not able to position the arms back against the wall because they need to stick out beyond the desk (through the wall). As is, you have to configure the monitors based on intersecting circles, since the arms/joins all turn. Nothing allows a sliding left/right motion. I ended up returning this for an ESI Ergo EVOLVE2.

A sturdy monitor stand. The little screw that locks and prevents rotation from the horizontal does not work at all, it loosens very easily. And it took some adjustments to the position screws but now it works really well. I wish ergotron cared more about design, though: 1. remove the offending gray ergotron label from the front base. That is useless there and does not blend in. 2. better hide the cords inside the extending arm. Zip ties below the arms do not create a clean look. 3. If the stand is meant to be white, then all of it should be white. The back of my monitor is white and the black attachment looks weird.
