This innovative pedal is a tribute to the iconic Sovtek "Civil War" Big Muff from 1991, known for its distinctive blue and gray chassis. It combines the robust, wooly sound of the classic "Tall Font Green Russian" Big Muff and our EHX Green Russian Big Muff, with the advanced controls of the Deluxe Big Muff.

The familiar Sustain, Tone, and Volume knobs are retained, and we've incorporated a plethora of additional features from the Deluxe Big Muff for those who crave deep sound shaping abilities.

The Volume Knob serves as a master volume control for the entire pedal, while the Blend Knob allows you to mix between the dry and distorted signals. The Tone Knob offers a range of sounds from high treble to deep bass, and the Sustain Knob adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion. The Gate Knob lets you control the noise gate, requiring greater input amplitude to open and allow your notes to be heard.

The Mids Level Knob, when engaged, either boosts or cuts up to +/- 10dB, at the frequency set by the Freq knob located below it. The Wicker Switch opens up high-frequency bandwidth for a bright and clear top end and more pronounced attack. The Mids Q Switch sets the resonance or bandwidth of the MIDS EQ, and the Mids Freq Knob sets the center frequency of the MIDS EQ circuit ranging from 310Hz to 5.0kHz.

The pedal also features an Exp Input for connecting an expression pedal with a TRS plug, allowing you to sweep the MIDS center frequency with your foot or other extremity. The Output connects to the input of your amp or another effects pedal, and the Input is where you plug your instrument. The Mids Footswitch/LED engages or bypasses the MIDS EQ section, and the Bypass Footswitch/LED toggles between effect mode and true bypass.
