For the price, these monitors are not worth the money. From right to left, the density shifts so much that it can be viewed by the naked eye even by an elderly woman who is losing her sight. We bought two of these monitors for our color correction specialists [...] and have had nothing but problems. When we contacted the company they told us to ship them back and they would test them to determine if the shift was bad enough to fall under their acceptable range for warranty replacement service. They asked how bad it was and when we stated at least 10% - 15% difference they stated that it might not be covered. In my opinion, 0% is the only accepteable range when it is for professional use and cost over [$]! I have seen better quality and more consistant output from NEC and Dell monitors that cost $. Waste of money [...] Do Not buy!!!

The CE210W offers 10-bit hardware calibration for the accurate color control required for CAD, graphic design, printing, & digital photography. The EIZO-developed ColorNavigator CE Calibration software comes bundled with ColorEdge CE models & offers 10-bit hardware calibration when used with a GretagMacbeth, X-Rite, or ColorVision measurement device
The wide screen format with its 16:10 aspect ratio offers more horizontal viewing space than conventional monitors. 2 applications such as a text document & web browser can be viewed side-by-side, or graphics applications can be opened & work palettes displayed simultaneously without any overlap
To ensure that each ColorEdge CE monitor produces the most accurate & consistent color gradations possible, EIZO carefully measures & sets every shade of R, G, & B from 0 - 255 on the production line with the monitor's 10-bit Look-Up Table (LUT), to produce a monitor gamma value of 2.2. Should the user prefer a different value, the LUT can be used to calculate for values ranging from 1.8 (the industry standard) up to 2.6
EIZO's powerful ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) provides 14-bit color processing capability for smooth, accurate grayscale & color rendering even in darker tones, which are typically difficult for LCD monitors to reproduce accurately.
To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is included. Used with many LCD TVs, an overdrive circuit vastly improves the LCD panel's response time for changing between midtones or gray levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring.
The 1000:1 Contrast Ratio's outstanding contrast performance makes images on dark backgrounds appear more vivid & ensures that colors retain their richness even in brightly lit rooms.
Extensive independant 6-color control allows the precise adjustment of even a single color in an image. You can independently adjust hue & saturation for each primary (red, green, blue) & secondary (cyan, magenta, yellow) color.
Fine Contrast lets you "fine-tune" the image for the type of application being used. It includes 3 modes: sRGB, Custom, & CAL (for ColorNavigator CE calibration software) which can be selected via a handy button on the front bezel
The EIZO-developed ArcSwing 2 stand provides an arc-shaped range of movement so the screencan be positioned up high near eye level or lowered at an angle akin to reading a book for a more natural viewing posture The USB 2.0 Hub, 1 upstream, 2 downstream hub facilitates high speed (480 MB/s) connections with other USB peripherals
The Brightness Stabilization Function ensures stable brightness - necessary for the proper display of color, with EIZO patented technology. A drift correction sensor quickly stabilizes the brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. The product name, serial number, & total usage time can be confirmed in the on-screen display menu.
