After extensive research and development, EIZO presents the ColorEdge CG2420, a 24" 16:10 Hardware Calibration IPS Wide-Gamut LED Monitor. This advanced monitor is designed to enhance your creativity and streamline your workflow with its innovative features and superior color management capabilities.

The ColorEdge CG2420 is equipped with a built-in sensor housed within the front bezel, designed to automate your calibration process. This eliminates the need for third-party calibration devices and ensures optimal screen-to-print matching. The sensor swings onto the screen only when calibrating, and it operates even when the monitor is in portrait mode.

This monitor comes bundled with ColorNavigator 6, a color management software that allows you to easily carry out calibration. You can select the desired preset or assign values for brightness, white point, and gamma. The built-in sensor utilizes the monitor's look-up-table (LUT) to create an ICC profile within minutes, ensuring your monitor maintains consistent settings.

The ColorEdge CG2420 also supports ColorNavigator NX, a quality control (QC) software that offers asset management of client ColorEdge monitors. It covers calibration, emulation, built-in sensor correlation, and color mode settings. With ColorNavigator NX, calibration information is saved to the monitor instead of the PC's operating system, allowing you to connect to multiple PCs without the need to recalibrate.

The monitor also features Media Emulation through ColorNavigator 6, which emulates the color characteristics of other media devices such as tablets, smartphones, and other LCD/CRT monitors. This feature allows content creators to see how their clients view color on their respective devices.

The ColorEdge CG2420 reproduces almost the entire Adobe RGB color space, ensuring vibrant colors are displayed correctly. It also ensures reproduction of almost the entire ISO-coated and USA web-coated CMYK color spaces used in printing. With a 10-bit simultaneous display from a 16-bit LUT, it can show more than one billion colors simultaneously, resulting in smooth color gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.

The monitor is equipped with EIZO's patented digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) technology to ensure a Delta-E difference of 3 or less across the screen. This technology counterbalances the influences that a fluctuating temperature may have on color temperature and brightness for stable image display.

The ColorEdge CG2420 also offers a high contrast ratio of 1500:1 in compliance with the DCI standard, producing true blacks that are difficult to display on a typical LCD monitor. The monitor is equipped with a film which allows tones to retain their depth even when viewed from an angle.

The monitor's design features slim bezels, seamless electrostatic switches, a built-in carrying handle, and easy-access USB ports. It also comes with an ergonomic stand that offers height, tilt, and swivel adjustments as well as portrait display. The monitor is equipped with an IPS non-glare panel for high visibility and uses dimming technology to minimize flicker and help prevent eye fatigue.

The ColorEdge CG2420 is backed by a manufacturer's 5-year warranty that covers all components including the LCD panel. EIZO guarantees its ColorEdge monitors will be free from bright sub-pixels for six months from the date of purchase. The brightness and color of the ColorEdge CG2420 is warranted for up to 10,000 hours from the date of purchase. The ColorEdge CG2420 was among the first monitors in the world to obtain TUV Rheinland's Color Accuracy (Quick Stability grade) certification.
