I've had this monitor for 1.5 years and cannot get it calibrated to get good prints! Anyone have any advice? Julius Titak

I got this mainly for my photo editing, but I also enjoy it for web browsing and everything else. It has very accurate colors, and screen uniformity looks much better than the old Dell I was using. It's a bit bulky compared to the sleek, new screens, but not really a big deal. I'd rather have performance over cosmetics. One thing to watch out for is that wide gamut monitors don't play well with non-color-managed apps. This is not a fault of the monitor, but something to keep in mind if you're seeing oversaturated colors in Windows and other software. Running the screen in sRGB mode fixes that. Aside from the moron UPS driver leaving this precariously balanced on a porch railing when he delivered it, it's been smooth sailing. Just a great monitor & I highly recommend. Also, I'm glad it wasn't made in China.

Overwhelm your senses with the ColorEdge CS2420 24" IPS Wide-Gamut LED Monitor, a perfect blend of style, efficiency, and high-quality performance. This monitor is designed for both hobbyists and professional users, offering a sleek, user-friendly design and advanced features that make it ideal for digital photography, illustration, and more.
Experience precise color management with the included ColorNavigator 6 software. This software ensures your monitor maintains consistent settings, allowing you to easily carry out calibration. Simply select the desired preset or assign values for brightness, white point, and gamma. The ColorNavigator 6 is compatible with a wide range of measurement devices from leading manufacturers like X-Rite and DataColor.
The ColorEdge CS2420 stands out with its vivid color reproduction to industry standards. Its wide color gamut reproduces almost the entire Adobe RGB color space, ensuring images shot in Adobe RGB are displayed accurately. This feature allows for faithful reproduction of vibrant blue skies and lush green forests, something monitors limited to an sRGB color space cannot achieve. The wide color gamut also ensures reproduction of almost the entire ISO-coated and US web-coated CMYK color spaces used in printing.
Enjoy the 10-bit simultaneous display using the DisplayPort or HDMI inputs. This feature offers a 16-bit look-up-table (LUT), showing more than one billion colors simultaneously, resulting in smooth color gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.
The ColorEdge CS2420 is factory adjusted for smooth color gradations. Each monitor's gamma level is adjusted at the factory by measuring the R, G, and B gamma values from 0 - 255, then using the monitor's 16-bit look-up-table (LUT) to select the 256 most appropriate tones and achieve the desired value.
Experience uniformity from corner to corner with EIZO's patented digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) technology. This technology ensures stable image display and counterbalances the influences that a fluctuating temperature may have on color temperature and brightness.
The monitor's sleek, user-friendly design features slimmer bezels, seamless electrostatic switches, a built-in carrying handle, and easy-access USB ports. It also comes with an ergonomic stand that offers height, tilt, and swivel adjustments as well as portrait display.
The ColorEdge CS2420 is equipped with an IPS non-glare panel for high visibility and uses dimming technology to minimize flicker, helping to prevent eye fatigue for a more comfortable working environment. It also supports I/P (interlace/progressive) conversion for converting the interlace signals from TV and video into progressive signals for flicker-free display.
This monitor is backed by a manufacturer's 5-year warranty that covers all components, including the LCD panel. EIZO manufactures its products at its own factories to ensure close control over production quality and guarantee each monitor is built to last.
