Must have for Quadra users
If you have any Elinchrom AC heads and are moving toward the ease and portability of the Quadra Ranger packs, this adapter is a must have. I had sold off all of my studio heads and generators except for a R4000 striplight. I was going to put it on ebay, since I had no generators to use it with. I became aware of this adapter and immediately bought it. What a great find. Down side is the modelling light doesn't work with this unit, but that is a small inconvenience compared to having the ability to use this great head.
I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of switching to the fantastic Quadra system and who already has original Elinchrom equipment. Being able to use all of the lights and accessories you already own, anywhere on the planet you can think of, is fantastic.
