THE BAD: I found the Elinchrom ring flash to feel cheaply made. The diffuser would not stay attached. In fact I had to use gaffers tape to secure the diffuser. It did not work well with the Fuji X Pro-2 at all. I had to use the XT-1 with grip and even the it was still very awkward at best. If you can't us a lens hood you'll need to get your lens way in there or you'll get crazy bad lens flare/ghosting! THE GOOD: The mounting system is far superior to that of Alien Bee BR800. The quality of light is exactly what I expected from Elinchrom. The seamless integration with the Skyport was a delight. The Quadra battery connect was solid and easy to carry. Much easier if I had the lithium ion battery. CONCLUSION: This is designed for full size DSLR systems with grips. It's light weight and far superior to anything else on the market. If you must own a ringflash this has plenty of power and is very portable. Great Elinchrom light quality but the build could be much better.

Works well but treat it with care. I have had no problems with mine but I think it needs a protective case as thsee flashes are fragile. If you already have a Quadra, this is a no brainer.
