FERNANDO E : Wich generic bulbs can we buy for this lamp? it doesn't say anywhere
Shopper : Is the fan very noisy? Will this work with the 1,000 Watt bulbs that the scanlite 1000 uses? Who makes the bulbs for this? Osram? Sylvania?
Shopper : I'm looking to light interiors with an even, soft lighting without . Do you think this is a good lighting option?Andrew H : Are you looking to light for photo or for video? If you already are using elinchrom strobes for photo, as long as you use the 300W bulb, you can use all of your elinchrom strobe modifiers with the scanlite. If you use the 650W, you can not as it puts out too much heat. The 300W puts out enough light to light an interior room for video use. Depending on the application and need for even lighting, you may need a couple lights. All depends on application, subject, room, etc. You can bounce or use scrim to soften as needed if you dont have any modifiers available.

The Elinchrom Zooming SCANLITE Halogen Lamp offers lighting options from wide angle to hotspot with many Elinchrom reflectors. The SCANLITE heads can be used with 110 V or 230 V. Only the halogen lamp and the fuse must apply to the correct voltages and values.
