Sara O : Im don't understand the description is 100 watts 120 volts but the lamp stamp is 100 watts 90 volts? what is correct? because i need a new lamp for the d lite 4 and i just have a 100 / 120.. can i use that?DANNY A : I had the same concerns recently when the modeling lamps in both of my Dlite 400's blew out within a week of each other! I ordered a pair of replacement Elinchrom bulbs from Adorama- after I found out NO OTHER bulbs will fit in the units!! The bulbs have an "E27" European medium base and I could not find a single bulb in this country, by any other manufacturer, that would fit in these lights! My understanding is that the base is internally regulated so that 90-120 volt lights work regardless of what country you're in (that is, if any other bulb would fit lol). Hope this helps? PS- order an extra bulb or two!!DENZIL E : The watts is going to refer to the luminance of the light source. The volts is the current coming from the plug. Most have converters on them but make sure your supply from the house is 120volts. That is the current for the USA and that is what the unit should describe. 90 volts sounds like an imported product.GARY L : All that I can say is, the modeling light has performed well.
