D : Yes, this fits as a protective cover and you still are able to use any of the modifiers. I keep one on all the time, the warm one. The light is absolutely gorgeous.ERIC S : Yes it can be used as a protective cover, although I wouldn't set it on the end like I do with a plastic cover on it. The only downside is that you can't use any umbrellas with it or anything that uses the umbrella hole.SHELDON N : It will fit as a protective cover and can stay on the strobe head permanently. You will also be able to use modifiers with this in place, and it will help spread the light around more evenly within the modifier. The only thing you won't be able to do is use the central umbrella hole on the strobe, which also would prohibit you from using deflectors.
