great travel size

I haven't had a real chance to give it a good spin just yet but it has so far performed to my satisfaction. It fits in my suitcase better than a deep rotalux and isn't a sail like other softboxes would be. I mainly purchased it to use outside in wind or calm and its size for me was a compromise in softness vs portability. Super solid and well made like (most of at least) Elinchrom products and I know that it is specifically designed for their lights.

About Elinchrom Softlite Reflector 17", White

The Elinchrom Softlite 17" Reflector (White) is a parabolic "Pan" reflector with adjustable deflector shield for eliminating specular light from the flashtube, and re-directing it back into reflector. It is ideal for portrait and commercial photography where broad, soft, even lighting is required, but has more crispness than a softbox.

This reflector fits any Elinchrom flash head and includes silver, gold, translucent and frost deflectors to cool, warm or diffuse the light output.
