Excellent quality
Excellent quality. Easy to use. I highly recommend this deflectoes set to anyone who has Elinchrom Monolights. I purchased this set to use on my D-Lite RX 4it set and BRX 500 Monolights To Go Kit. These deflectors are designed with a square notch in them and a square end on the rod that fits snugly. This keeps the deflectors or diffuser disc from rotating out of alignment with the flash tube.This is an improvement over the original designed deflectors. There is a clip on the rod that sets the deflector disc to the correct distance from the tube. The disc are plastic and well-made and appeared to be of good quality plastic.. There is the possibility that with continuous or extreme use they may become distorted from the high heat from the flash tuba or continuous use of modeling light on the 100% setting. I have used the deflectors inside a soft box and have not had any problem with them distorting or warping due to heat. The wing nuts that hold the disc on are made of plastic. As of this time I have not had any trouble with them. There could be a problem of stripping them if you over tighten. They can easily be replaced with a small metal wingnut purchased from a hardware store. At this time a very satisfied with the product and would highly recommend them to anybody that has Elinchrom lights.

excellent... but....
The deflectors work much better than the original deflectors. The notched end keeps the spoon from rotating away from the flash tube and the clip on the rod makes it easy to get the deflector to the correct distance from the tube. But the new deflectors are plastic which can melt and the knobs on the screws are quite large and stick out too far to use easily use a grid with them.
I have replaced the screws with screws from a hardware store and all is well, other then needing to be careful about heat.
