A little expensive for what it does but I guess you have little choice if you want to use a light modifier on your Elinchrom Ranger Quadras.

This allows you to attach the Elinchrom Rotalux light modifiers to your Ranger Quadras. Works great but pricy for what it does.

If you want to use Elinchrom Rotalux modifiers or high end modifiers these adapters are an absolute MUST have.

I bought a pair of these so I could use my larger softboxes on my new Ranger Quadras. I'm OK with the fact that larger softboxes require a more robust attachment, although though the price of these are a bit steep. My only real complaint is that these do not snap on as smoothly as I was expecting. It seems I have to fiddle with them every time which is annoying. This is the first EL item that I own that I would not rate perfectly. But what are my other options if I want to use my heavier softboxes? None.

This is a nice adapter, and much-needed if you want to get in to the big modifiers. It fits securely on a stand, and it seems to be handling great under the weight of big soft boxes. I was a bit surprised at the all-plastic light-attaching mechanisms, but they seem to fit securely, and the metal locking mechanism for the modifier works perfect.
