Through their Softbox Portrait Kit, Elinchrom offers ideal tools that photographers can use to shoot portraits their way. These pieces of gear also achieve soft, flattering light with a reflector’s directional control. Elinchrom’s 24” Snaplux Octabox and 14 x 30” Snaplux Stripbox make up this softbox kit that suits beauty shots and portraits. Both softboxes are part of the Snaplux line, which makes set-ups as simple as umbrellas. The 24” Octabox is an excellent natural catchlight for your shots, while the 14 x 30” Stripbox is a potential side and fill light. Plus, these softboxes come with 30° Snapgrids - accessories that will help these light modifiers control direction and light spread accurately. Elinchrom’s Snaplux softboxes have no speed rings so that you can choose the best ring for your set-up. Snaplux speed rings will work with Elinchrom’s Standard Mount and Q-Mount, Bowens, Profoto, Broncolor Pulso, and Alien Bees flashes. And apart from the features and items above, the Snaplux softboxes come with external diffusers and carrying bags.
The Elinchrom Softbox Portrait Kit includes two Snaplux Quick-Open Softboxes, one Stripbox 14 x 30in, and one Octabox 24in, for portraiture setups. The Stripbox can be used as either a sidelight or fill light, while the Octabox is perfect for creating natural catchlights in your subject's eyes. Elinchrom selected this combination of light modifiers to create an ideal kit for beauty and portrait photography that will provide precise control over the direction and light spread with the included grids.
Elinchrom Snaplux Quick-Open Softboxes
Snaplux is Elinchrom's entry-level line of softboxes that combine the ease and set up speed of umbrellas with the directionality and light quality of softboxes. To create Snaplux Elinchrom sourced the same material used in their line of Deep Umbrellas for it's proven durability and even spread of light. All Snaplux's include a 30 Degree Snapgrid and carry case; however, the required speed ring is sold separately.
