Hello, my family loves these projectors! Great sound, picture and very small footprint, I just recently bought our 3rd one in the last 18 months. You can project onto a wall and the picture quality is really really good. Hey if you compare to a $1000 TV, maybe not so good, but lets compare apples to apples. These little units are awesome. So far so good, will be interesting to see how long they last. But for the price, quality and sounds it is worth taking the risk. Start with one and see for yourself. We have used in living room, bedroom and even outside. Picture is not so good in daylight or bright room, you need a dark area to really see the quality of the picture. So yes it has limited use, but for the price and quality hard to beat!

Bought EF12 in Dec 2020, Hardly user. First the HDMI ports stopped working. Then the projector would not turn on, Mother board failed.

I bought this EF12 projector, and it arrived 5 days ago. The auto keystone is not working at all: - it tilts the image in opposite direction, and - in different random angels. After spending 3 hours on the phone with Epson tech support and sending several pictures to them, Epson asked me to return it and I am wait for the replacement.

Terrific projector, even as reconditioned by Epson. No problem with set up, Only wish there were more adjustable feet on it, like in the back to more easily adapt to high angle-to-screen placements. But that aside, great image, brightness, sound quality fabulous, app interface pretty good too. I paired it with an appletv pod, with which it works well together.

Great projector for under $1k. It does what we want it to do and the picture and sound are great. I've heard negative things about refurbished products but that's not our case yet. It's worth trying out.

Unfortunately within a few weeks of using it the projector has been lagging when I try to cast anything from a computer. Epson only offers the option to replace it for the same model which does not solve the issue, as noted in other reviews this model clearly has problems. It is frustrating to have spent a considerable sum on something that is not useable.

Buying this projector from Epson was one of the most frustrating experiences in recent memory. I bought the projector renewed and it arrived quickly. However, it was missing all of its accessories. When I called customer support they said they would overnight me the accessories. They did not, and I had to call several times per day over the next few days to get a fedex tracking number. Every time I called they said they would call me back with more information but they never did. Finally the package arrived and when I opened it I was incredibly frustrated to see that they only sent me one sharing cable that did not even match the projector. No remote, no correct charging cable. At this point I spent a few more days with support on the phone, but they kept giving excuses like not having remotes available at the warehouse. At this point I was so frustrated that I decided to return the projector to Epson. I purchased it refurbished on Amazon and the projector itself is great. I recommend the product but had a terrible time dealing with Epson's customer service and cannot recommend buying from the company.
