This has been the most difficult printer to set up! I will most likely return it.

I bought this printer a month ago and was initially "ok" with it. I wanted a cheap printer that I could have at home that wouldn't cost an arm and leg to buy new oem print cartridges. We don't print much but do need it occasionally for return labels and things like that. There was a "deal" on this printer and it checked the boxes that I wanted. Mulfi-function, mobile printing capable, holds almost a ream of paper, network connected. After unboxing it and removing all the packing, I started setting it up. I set it up in my office, not where it's final resting place would be. I connected to my IoT networking at home thinking that would have the best compatibility. It connected rather easily and printed a test sheet. Done...right? I now have a network printer that my devices can find. Printed from my ipad, it worked. Great. Move on with my life....then my family wanted to print...from their Macs. No problem, just hit print and it'll show up. Wrong. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL DRIVERS. What year is this? Ok, fine, it's been a long time since I've purchased a new printer so maybe that's normal these days....driver installed...now software required....then more software, then app for the phone, the list goes on and on. Finally got it to work on one of our Mac's, now need to do the others. Fast forward to actually needing it...to print from that same Mac that worked before and the ipad that worked before. "No Printer Found". Go make sure it's turned on, it is, but no networking connectivity. It can't find the wireless network, and the AP Is 10 feet away. It finds my guest network though. Weird. I decide to just hard ware it as clearly the wifi card is garbage. I plug it in. Now I have to go through a setup to use ethernet. Fine. Done. Go to print, nope, still can't find that printer. Not with my ipad, not with my Mac, where is this thing?? Still shows offline. Unreal. Cheap printer/scanner that just works. This ISN'T IT. DO NOT BUY.

Because of a software update, it is no longer printing grayscale with just the black ink cartridge--it keeps telling me I can't print until I buy and install colour cartridges as well. It used to work just fine with only black ink (what I need for 99% of my printing). Totally disruptive at work today. NOT impressed.

Worked good until the ink ran out. After the last firmware update, it won't accept 3rd party ink. Would not recommend. The Epson ink is the price of a new printer.

I've had 3 Epson printers and this one is very disappointing. Uses ink very fast and then it required true epson cartridges to print. I would not recommend or buy this product !!

I bought this 3 weeks ago. It connected to wifi at first, but then won't connect at all. Says connection is poor, but it is literally <10 feet from router. All other items in the same room have no issues connecting. Drivers for Windows 11 must be downloaded. New printer, but Windows 11 driver not automatic? Disappointed in draft quality. Have printed several pages on draft, and it prints out gray, not black. I understand lighter and faster, but not gray. CD is given for software. Who has a CD drive anymore?!? I'll be returning this to the store.

I bought this printer about a year ago. It was sparingly used but when used there were no issues in it. Print quality connectivity speed functionality and compatibility are all good. No drying of ink or clogged head. Well I did keep one thing in mind always kept in the plastic sheet that came along which kept the nozzles from drying. Duplex printing saves in paper.

This is very helpful for my business I take care of every day. My previous printer was continually giving me errors no matter what and it was hard to get things done in a timely manner. This Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820 Wireless is very easy to set up and use and took only moments when we changed our internet service. The quality of the prints is excellent and quick.

Nevetr use non-North American Customer Ser vice. I just about returned my printer to the store beause I could not get it set up. Foreign customer service in NOT a good idea - I believe its costing Epson Co. customers

Not sure if Epson knows that requiring only genuine Epson-brand cartridges is against US Federal Laws. Other brands of ink cartridges and ink supplies are not compatible and, even if described as compatible, may not function properly or at all.

I purchased my Epson Workforce Pro 3820 from Office Depot. I had a large variety of Printers to choose from be I chose Epson I have never purchased an Epson Printer but glad I did, it works well with what my needs are. I had no problem with connectivity the print quality is great the speed is good. I used the fax today for the first time I had to call tech support to assistant me and they did a great job, got me connected and i am happy with my purchase.

This printer has great speed for a home computer. The print is crisp and clean. I was pleased with how easy it was to set up and had little problems. I have been able to print from my Iphone and HP tablet without any problems. I would recommend this product for personal use, college student use and possibly small home business.

This printer lasted 18 months, printed <200 sheets prior to failure. (Just replaced the starter ink cartridges if that gives any idea of use.) The paper feed gears stripped from a paper jam. There is an assembly available on Amazon but there is an additional stripped gear & shaft that drives the assembly that is not available as a replacement part. This is the poorest quality printer I have owned, most last 5 or more years. At least make the repair parts available?

2 Main points that makes this printer non-beneficial for me: Limited on automatic double-sided printing. I print a lot of double sided documents that are not letter size. I bought this printer under the assumption that I could seamlessly double-side print. That is not the case. So if you're one to need to automatic feed, double side print anything other than letter size, this is not the printer for it. The printer continuously drops wifi connection.

Printer cannot print in B&W unless all cartridges, including color, have ink. I would never have bought if I known this. Seems like common sense that you should be able to print in B&W only and not constantly have color available.

Very bad product. It will not let you print in black and white when you run out of any of the colored cartridges. Avoid!

Third unit I have purchased. Runs for about 6 months with a light load of work, maybe 50 sheets a month. Suddenly, won't connect even after updating all drivers, etc. Always at the worst time too. Now I have to buy another printer.

Good home use, only complaint is the paper in tray , when printing one sheet, will pull out a few blank sheets of paper with it.

All fine and dandy until you do a firmware update and Epson blocks you from using more economical ink cartridges. Wouldn't be a big deal if Epson's ink cartridges were actually better, but they are not and they eat through ink even on low settings. Spend the money on better laserjet printer that doesn't eat ink and require you to always use their brand.

Miss the easy 2 sided copying that my other printers had. Takes more time and have to remember to flip pages - works, scans, and prints well. Great printer. Had problems with printer acknowledging to print - I think wrong software was installed (stated in comment by company) but working now

I bought this printer after my other Epson WF was great and lasted 8 years! I've had this one 1 year n 4 months and it kept saying the paper cassette wasn't in correctly. I called your company and spent 30 minutes on the phone with them troubleshooting with no luck at all. In the end they had no service centers in the city that I live and kind of basically just said too bad. So I said after spending almost $200 you're telling me I just throw it away when it's only a year and 4 months and she said that's your choice. Well it really isn't my choice, if you don't have a repair center and I've called around to lots of companies who do not work on this printer probably because it's one of the less expensive ones, then my only choice is to throw it out. I'm highly disappointed in Epson as their huge company I've always loved their printers and now mine has become a throwaway after a year and 4 months. Extremely disappointing!

I like this printer but a couple of times I had problems printing. I had to do a diagnostic and have the epson software fix it. Now I'm having scanner problems. I reinstalled the software and it worked. Now I updated and the scanner wont work. Even on miscrosoft scan my epson scanner doesnt work. I think there is a problem with wifi with this printer.
