The only eyepiece in the ES 82 degree line I am still waiting for now is the 30mm(backordered for several months now) and like all the others this 6.7mm is excellent. All of them, including this one, give pinpoint stars for nearly the entire FOV in my 10? F4.7 dob and F5 120mm refractor. This is now my goto planetary eyepiece.

Very impressed with Explore Scientific 82° Series 14mm Eyepiece (1.25"). I have the Explore Scientific 82° Series 4.7mm, 8.8mm, and 14mm. Also have Explore Scientific 68° Series 24mm, and Explore Scientific 52° Series 30mm eyepieces. Excellent build quality and visual experience. I use these on a Celestron 8SE and Celestron C5.

Great optics, super clear view and great eye relief. My wife wears glasses and finds this eyepiece very easy to use while wearing her specs.

I love the ES 82 14 degree. I already owned the 8.8 and 6.7. I purchased this one primarily for the Meade LX200 14" that I use at the Custer Observatory. It will also be used in my Orion XT8i and my Meade ETX 125. Highly recommended.

Are you an astronomy enthusiast seeking a superior viewing experience Discover the Explore Scientific 82 Degree Series Extreme Wide Field Eyepiece, meticulously designed for high contrast, high resolution, and superior flat field characteristics. This 14mm eyepiece with a 1.25" barrel is a product of advanced computer design, combining low dispersion and high refractive index optical glasses.
The eyepiece boasts a durable multilayer deposition coating, optimized to deliver an immersive, full-field viewing experience. With its long eye-relief and expansive 82-degree apparent field, your eye can relax, enabling you to effortlessly employ the "averted vision" technique to study faint details across a vast field-of-view.
This high-quality, reliable eyepiece is assembled into precision machined metal lens barrels, ensuring the perfect alignment of the optical train for years of rugged use in the field. The eyepiece features a twist-up rubber eye-guard that adjusts to your desired height, enhancing your comfort during extended viewing sessions.
To minimize internal reflections, all internal surfaces of the eyepiece barrel are flat black, as are the edges of the lenses, reducing the scattering of light within the lenses themselves. This versatile, waterproof eyepiece is ideal for astronomical observation in various outdoor environments and weather conditions, offering a clear, wide-angle view of celestial objects.
Explore Scientific's innovative design invites direct side-by-side comparison with any other eyepiece of similar design. Experience the difference with the Explore Scientific 82 Degree Series Extreme Wide Field Eyepiece, a remarkable blend of quality and value in today's modern telescope industry.
