Works excellent so far. I like the looks and uncomplicated operation.

AM reception is the best of any radio I have owned. I haven't tried short wave much, but have gotten clear signals from South America and Europe, all with the radio's telescoping antenna. I can also get my local airport, perfect. Yes I would recommend this radio!

Nice radio with Proper External antennas......3 Stars- Noisy and Fuzzy, alot of RFI, Needs Filtering !

Got Used, PERFECT CONDITION, Tried on my noisy MLA-30 before Mods Performed fuzzy and irratic at best. After MLA-30 Mods, (see utube) Got a few Frequencies but still fuzzy. Added Ferrites to all my lines and relocated radio, runs out well know, could stand more filtering , still noisy and fuzzy at times! All in all quite pleased. Not as good as the German Grubdig 650, but comparable to most portables in the same price range. 3 Stars
